Meth absolutely has ruined my marriage. Maybe not meth alone. Basically my husband has completely had his mask come off. I’ve caught him and even had me to try to participate in some things he never would have done in the past. I am super open minded but some barriers shouldn’t be crossed. Especially when you are married. We were starting to feel close again- and then he started acting crazy a few months ago.

I’m getting sober. He doesn’t seem to want to. He barely talks to me anymore. Yet always can talk to his buddies constantly. I want a divorce but also don’t want to be homeless. At the same time - I don’t want to be played for stupid either.

This might sound stupid but why would you want a divorce and end up homeless?

Forgive me if I'm wrong but why would you end up homeless?

What if you worked from where you are until you can afford to move out and then decide if you still want it? A nice little buffer of your own, that can help you in case things get too tough.

Is that feasible?

Come live with me in San Diego.

Are you confused?

Courts even to this day rule in favor of the Wife.

I do not say this to dispute the rulings, rather to allow women to realize they have the option to litigate and win.

In the end I not only gave her a house, I managed to pay for an additional one for myself.

Why did I mention this?

To allow women to litigate when needed.

Simple as ...

this is a really tough situation. if you get clean and he does not, i don't see how a marriage can continue. connection can't be established when one person ins't there emotionally. it sounds like meth caused him to act on impulses he would probably not entertain if he was sober. when he gets sober, there's gonna be a lot of bad feelings about what he did during this time.
we are all here to support you though this. reach out to us if you need an ear.

yes i was confused about the word marriage being the only thing written. i was really asking you to elaborate on the message you intended to share. i'm not sure just the word marriage is getting your opinion out there.

Hey girl, I feel what you’re going through. Why would you be homeless upon getting a divorce? Are you in LA area? I have resources for you. Hit me up. I’m here to help.
