Cocaine Disinfecting Suitcase Before Travel

..... travelling to the USA and want to know how to best prepare for border crossing....For example, suitcases, wallet, purse, cards from past C use.

What are you trying to bring in? Are you flying, driving, or sailing ? This matters a lot. Are you a foreigner? From where? I don't mean to sound so blunt but that's kinda the reality of the situation and matters.
 
It's unethical to speculate about information like that. And quiet illegal. Dangerous.

And also is completely against the forum rules and policy as well !!

Apologies, I should have been more clear in my first post - which is actually my "1'st Forum post". Im not bringing anything, No Way! Coming via air from Canada to USA. Just want to disinfect my things that may have trace remnants of PAST fun as I just want a nice visit without any trouble or ANYTHING illegal!!!
 
They don't really swim here either. Like at all !!!!

Apologies for my ignorance....don't really know how to properly post yet so I didn't know that "swim" was a negative thing. In readings on past posts my interpretation thought that was the correct nomenclature. I guess I gotta go read the rules again.

Oh, ok 👍, so you just dont want a false alarm and to be hassled/searched?

1. They might swab your finger tips / hands with instant narc check tests. Dont handle anything prior to flight and always wash your hands. A positive test will result in a strip search.

2. Your checked luggage might be dog sniffed... but if its clean worst case scenario they search thru it and then put it back on the plane.

Other than that, if you aren't bringing in any illegal drugs, you really have nothing to worry about. Its not illegal for you or your luggage to smell or have trace amounts. Its only illegal to actually have some on you. They aren't going to freak out over a microscopic 1ug spec of cocaine.

Pro tip: if you're a man, make sure your junk isn't stuck to the side of your leg on a humid day. I have personally been taken aside multiple times because the body scan thinks my junk is a bulge of drugs. It never is... idk.. I'm not even that big down there but it always happens to me for some reason.

But don't even worry. On several occasions I completely forgot I had small personal amounts of drugs on me and went through airport security just fine. But I don't recommended it.

They were asking advice on sanitizing their travel stuff before crossing the border. How is that unethical or dangerous? :/
 
Then buy a brand new suitcase or suitcases and don't ' accidently ' put anything in it that is illegal or considered smuggling and then you won't have to worry about being clean anymore.

Because then you will be clean and worry free and won't have to worry about getting in trouble for doing something that might be illegal ?

If you are worried about being clean then be as clean as possible and then you won't
have to worry about being clean.

If your old luggage is clean as possible then wipe it down as good as possible and make sure
it then gets clean as it can be.

And then you will be able to see if it does in fact seem clean enough if you were worried for some reason.

I was just wondering myself what the reason was for worrying or why the suitcase or suitcases would need to be cleaned out so intensely for in the first place anyway.

I'm not a suitcase expert or even airport security so I don't fuckin know.

Why worry about it if it doesn't need to be cleaned. Then if it has to be cleaned then it has to be cleaned.

I don't know what was in the suitcase to begin with or what all is even being put in it. It was just an odd
suitcase question and I tried.

So where is this person so worried about contents of a suitcase then. ...

If i was so worried about my suitcase being dirty I would most likely vacuum it. I don't ever bother cleaning my suitcase because it never got that dirty in decades of .... usage.

And if I was that worried about it being that contaminated I would just buy a new one to keep the economy going even more.

Or if you are worried about smuggling something then don't smuggle anything bottom line and you won't have to worry about anything then.

They left a message on a message board and I left a message also. I don't know what they were doing or why they wanted to clean so badly and not mistakenly take something ... wrong.

Why the big concern. Clean and use precautions then. What's the issue with it.

I am sure it turned out to be a great refreshing trip. Clean and within the Federal Guidelines.

That is all. No more cleaning questions for me please. My chores are done and over. lol

Or ...... I'm sure there is someone that is smarter than me that has a much better answer. Thank gawd everyone is just volunteering with such help. All I can do is try or maybe apply at the airlines and find out the valuable specifications.

I'm sure someone has the perfect answer out there. Maybe even the original poster them self now. So yeah now it's all my fault that someone just posted four times and then stopped.
