Opioids Infected and Ketotic - Can Opioids Cure ANY Bad Feeling?

We know they can basically cure any physical or mental pain...and people say (heroin specifically, but I imagine any strong opioid) can "cure" (I assume cover-up-feeling-it) the common cold or even the flu.
So could they cure any ill feeling?

I've had quite a bit of Morphine today (160mg over the last 14hrs)...but I'm wondering if more could help?

I have a Necrotizing Soft Tissue Infection* (so have all the symptoms that come with feeling systemically ill from infection: fever, malaise, etc) and have run out of insulin so am also ketotic (not in ketoacidosis, though, obviously I would go to hospital if that were the case as is a medical emergency).
Do you guys think more Morphine would help me feel less shitty?

*Had minor surgery to remove necrotic tissue + debridement but it's come back (or never totally left) as I guess the antibiotics [Flucloxacillin 1000mg 4 x day] failed.

Please dont. Your tolerance will just increase substantially and at some point the hyperalgesia will be agonizing, i.e. Instead of feeling painless, you will feel more pain.

Also in withdrawal instead of euphoria, you have dysphoria, which will end up in even more consume and at higher doses.

So, Im also on morphine, so I feel you bro. The best method I learned for having almost no withdrawal symptoms, but still experiencing a nice high is this one: once per week I take like 2-3 x my normal dose (orally!) and I crush some of it for more intense feelings. The nodding, euphoria is still great and Im satisfied for the entire week until I have my next high.

What Im suggesting is that you have to find a „healthy“ way for dealing with your addiction. Give your body time to regenerate, and yout tolerance to sink, then you can reward yourself with a noce day.

All opioids generally will feel energetic at low to medium doses, but as you begin to raise the threshold you’ll begin to find out how sedating they really are, and I’ve IV’d 100+ milligrams of the old school green OC’s, so I’d like to believe that I know what I’m talking about.

All opioids generally will feel energetic at low to medium doses, but as you begin to raise the threshold you’ll begin to find out how sedating they really are, and I’ve IV’d 100+ milligrams of the old school green OC’s, so I’d like to believe that I know what I’m talking about.

Most poeople would agree. With an oral dose of 5mg Morphine, in someone with no tolerance, you'll be generally relaxed and stimulated with an uplifted mood and a disconnected feeling (worry free). Next day will generally feel fine.

However, at 30mg, you'll be heavily sedated and probably end up feeling quite sick.

Opioids are great at acute pain management, and often time chronic. Problems arise when people with chronic conditions are cutoff from pain medication, resulting in extreme rebound pain and likely drug seeking behaviour...

I’ve done plenty of opioids, been dependent on high IV doses of clean drugs, and I have tapered off successfully many times (too many to count). Oxycodone is in no way energizing in any way aside from the standard opioid energy levels.

I used to think that 30-50 mgs of Oxy could fix any bad pain but I was wrong. I had full shoulder replacement 10 days ago. I took the Journavx, Gabopentin, Tylenol and 4-5 Vicodin that was prescribed (docs refuse to prescribe Oxy no mater what....they don't want to risk their license) and was still in agony. I have been saving some 30 mg Oxy I had because I don't trust doctors to relieve pain (sure enough when I called in they dismissed my pain) so I took 30 mgs of Oxy for 3 nights.

They were still 3 of the worst nights in my life. I was hoping that the Oxy's would see me through but nothing really reduced the suffering I went through. I think taking all those different meds (that didn't work at all) made me sick.

I will say that 15-20 years ago I had another shoulder surgery and full facial reconstruction. On those occasions I took 4 Vicodin a day, and 3 Oxy a day. That combo was very successful.

Just remember...if you take Oxy regularly you WILL get addicted. Save it for when you really need it.

Ya, sure….for a low semi tolerant user, a OC 40 would rock you…..

I was scared to take 2 Percocet 5/325 Oxy because that could be too much lol…..and yes, an Oxy-IR 20mg would been slightly dangerous, and as a CNS depressant & opioid you’d be knocked out

Dilaudid & Hydromorphone-Contin are like Diacetylmorphine (Heroin)

Apparently Eukadol (Oxycodone) patient specifically mentions the drugs euphoric properties…..and it’s “Stimulating” like you’re so euphoric, warm & cozy….with an inner smile, what you want to get up and socialize and do shit…..it IS a less sedating opioids such as Morphine Sulphate …..Oxycodone is in like with compounds such as Tramadol & Demerol (kind alike a speedball)

Interesting in my entire extension drug use (mostly Rx) and not …..that only Oxycodone & Ritalin (Methylphenidate) gave with what I would classify as intense euphoric bliss, with the ecstasy of a dopaminergic Opioid & Dopaminergic stimulant / monoamine “inverse agonist”

Hey guys. I’m a long term dihydrocodeine user for idiopathic pain. Been on them for almost 30 years. I do have to detox from them every few months or so because I only get so much from the dr. Obviously I still pick up my prescription when I’m off them so when I go back on them it doesn’t take me long to get up to taking 450mg per dose.
I’ve recently been given 15mg prolonged release Oxycodone and 50mg standard release Tramadol from a friend.
Can anyone help advise on what the difference in feeling is like between dihydrocodeine and the other two? And what kind of dose would I need to match my dihydrocodeine?
