Hi,
I am a musician from Vienna. I do music from classical violin to progadelic - a blend of progressive and psychedelic
My uncle was addicted to amphetamines. His doctor prescribed him Captagon (Fenetyllin) for a kind of burn out. He did not took any drugs before. He got addicted and when Captagon got on the black list and illegal he studied Chemistry books (my mum was a ballerina and chemist, my uncle was her brother) to get or produce something similar. He tested all kind of drugs and when I was 16 he told me exactly what drug does what to you. That was very educational. I believe that is something you should be taught at school.
His life went downwards till he committed suicide (he was clean while doing it)
That was kind of traumatic I suppose, so I somehow felt very empathetic to drug users.
