Hydromorphone New User

So I have recently procured 10mg of hydromorphone tablets, I have experience with most opiate pharmaceuticals but not this. I’m curious as to what would be a good dose, i’m not against boofing or snorting but also wish to be safe at the same time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m aware of the terrible bioavailability so orally would not be my preferred route as long as I could get some reassurance that I won’t just die.
 
I might not be the best person to ask since I've only done it twice, but I had no tolerance whatsoever when I did. I assume they're scored? If so, break one in half and crush it into a very fine powder (cover it with a piece of paper and roll something hard over it).

Once you've done that, split the powder into two equal portions. The effects are short-lived, but without a tolerance, the high can last for a few hours. Stay safe. You can always take more, but you can never take less.

I'm not sure about boofing hydromorphone. I assume the bioavailability is high, but I can't say for certain.

I have 5-2mg pills so scoring isn’t an issue, I just can’t find my narcan so id like to be safe

Did you get the hydromorphone from a reputable source?
 
The bad thing about Hydromorphone is it has a low oral bioavailability so snorting it is probably the best ROA.
 
If anybody was interested, I just ate 2mg and snorted 4mg of hydromorphone after 4-5 shots of vodka. Feeling very underplayed, I would much prefer an oxy to this.

Yea, not knowing exactly where your tolerance is at makes this tricky. I hear that you have experience with Opioids, but that doesn't really tell us anything about tolerance. Taking them orally is indeed pretty wasteful. Insufflation is the easiest way to go. If this experience was underwhelming, it sound like you still have some left. I would just go ahead and insufflate the rest knowing that you will be safe in doing so.
 
I did finish off the 10mg still very underwhelming. Definitely felt effects but not what I expected.

oxycodone is great for laying down and feeling awesome but hydromorphone at certain doses is something I can actually function on and imo doing stuff like socializing or going to things makes trips much better
