Worldwide Cannabis Users: What are you currently smoking?

i bought some weed from the pricier dispensary that claims to have higher THC... i tried several different strains from this dispensary and i'm at the point where i've made a serious opinion about what they are doing. i always see plenty of customers in the parking lot. every once and a while they have this strain "the fruit," and it's pretty tasty. has one of the fruitiest tastes i've ever experienced with weed, BUT it has kind of a dirty nasty taste VERY SUBTLY... it's still hella good though. i'd pay more for it than the discount store even when getting an ounce.

the dispensary with a bit less dense buds is what i'm gonna be smoking if the quality stays the same... every strain i get from the dispensary that people view as headier shit is a fucking terrible tasting bong rip. they had a couple garlic strains that are straight, but some of their stuff is fucking terrible bong rips... i can't really tell the difference between the stuff too much when ripping a pipe.

idk. it's pretty awesome i live in a town with a brand that is at the price that is pretty much the cheapest in america at this point and it's straight bud... there are SO MANY terrible low price brands that are FAR WORSE than the dispensary i'm talking about where you have to pay more for heady shit.

i've definitely talked about this on BL, and people are probably told that the computers they used don't have any type of system where the CIA could be observing people's personality traits and seeing what they will pay for bud... idk, sounds kind of dumb. there is a thread about the CIA sending voices into people's head on this site... i don't know if the CIA is doing anything, but they should be studying people from what bud they are picking up... Like some strains for the discount brand are like really good up to par with stuff i would be very happy getting on the streets when i was getting good weed and it's like MORE THAN HALF THE FUCKING PRICE THAT I USED TO PAY, and i was getting a pretty fucking legit straight deal on the illegal buds... bro the prices that cannabis are at in my state are insane cheap.......

some discount brands from the dispo are so bad though. some of them hurt to smoke but will get me high but not where i want to be. some stuff won't even get me high. it's not even worth inhaling the smoke. if that were the only shit, i don't know what 'd even smoke. i see a lot of containers for prerolls from brands that i think are bunk on the streets littered and i'm pretty sure these people are just ripping a whole preroll and getting deprived of oxygen and thinking they are getting high.

i didn''t really get weed other than mids that i felt WOULDN'T GET ME HIGH back in the day of illegality, even the mids would be like kind of good a lot of the time when weed was illegal.... BRO, I FEEL LIKE SOMEONE ELSE OUT THERE MUST'VE HAD THIS EXPERIENCE FROM THE NORTH EAST USA> YA'LL GOT TO KNOW ME!!! LOL.. There was a lot of dense rock nugs around in the early 2000's. they were crazy potent for a decent price... then around 2006 all this shit that wasn't AS DENSE labeled "headies" was all over the place. the headies had some DECENT TASTES, and always smelled proper, but bro paying more for headies was such a fucking pain in the ass... the dense rock nugs would get me FUCKIN' TOASTED TO ANOTHER LEVEL... Headies that we like twice the price were not even much better than mids some of the time. i've had moderately dense orange buds with out any crystals that were better than the super show room headies. some times the orange shit would suck. dramatically different quality on the orange buds though..

IDK. that's my experience with a legal state now, and my experience as a person that had to go through weed being illegal in the early 2000's..... BRO TL,DR, I'd try different brands though from my experience with dispensaries. like it doesn't always make sense price wise with what's good.
 
i'd love to find out who uses psychedelics or what other drugs people use and what size doses they take and what weed they are choosing.... IDK, if everyone is getting the same thing out of weed... i don't see how people smoke some of this stuff. i'm thinking maybe they are just going through the motions and don't even like drugs..
 
I was doing really well with ayrloom mood. It's 75% THC and 25% CBN. I like the CBN, I think it's neuroprotective and it definitely helps with sleep. Problem is it's no longer sold at my local dispensaries. I just bought this Sapphire 95% THC 1g pen and I can already tell it's too strong.

Any recommendations on a THC pen brand that is a good mix between anxiety relief and mood increase would be appreciated. Battling anhedonia always.

I use psychadelics heavily. Specifically, I enjoy using 1/10th-1/8th of a tab of clean american-produced lsd as a microdose every 3rd day + a good macrodose (1/8th or more) of mushies for the purposes of general shenanigans once a month. I enjoy clean mdma, but prefer a really good mda synth (shout out the pre-pandemic cherry cola sass on the east coast). I extracted dmt to pay for college/consistently use n,n-dmt carts for meditative/concert purposes. What questions do you have? Lol.

i was trying to imply that i bet the people on psychedelics are not buying the weed that does not get me high, is all...

trying to imply that many people are just going through the motions and not really getting high on drugs, as i said some of the weed is so bad to me and doesn't get me high that i believe people are just inhaling smoke and depriving their brain of oxygen.... may just be a conspiracy of mine.... i've had friends when we used to deal weed when it was illegal and some people would take drugs that didn't really get me high, and other friends would have the same opinion as me about what was good and never get tricked that the bad shit was good... i believe this should be studied, maybe a lot of drug users are getting placebo... i really feel like a lot of people are just going through the motions with drugs.... .. i could be wrong though, i'm not other people..

i've talked on BL about how i think they are going to discover something in marijuana someday that they haven't yet that is getting people high other than the terps they know and THC... i've been checking the terps on my bud and they don't really matter toward my high, and some very high THC stuff doesn't even get me baked even when it has strong terps... i heard one dude at the dispo talking about how some brands don't get him baked. i've heard plenty of people on the net talk about how a lot of dispo cannabis is not up to par too.. really makes me wonder.

Youre kinda not wrong in what youve said, lol. New cannabinoids and terpenes are discovered literally all the time. I have worked a career in cannabis + my autistic hyper-fixation is weed and yet I still cant truly keep up. You can lean on COA's, but honestly, you cant rely on them.

Consider batch sizes. Ive seen product hit legal shelves that on the labs stated "units tested:50. Batch units: 10,000." Theres no way that is an accurate representation of the whole batch from these places. Modern cannabis lab testing is inaccurate, antiquated, and a fundamentally flawed system.

Your eyes and your nose don't lie. If it looks good and smells good (pending its not infused/altered), it will probably smoke good. Just like the black market, if you cant see it or smell it before you buy it, dont buy it. Also, corporate cannabis is driven purely by greed. Buy small batch/local whenever available. Tell your budtenders, dealers, and growers what you really want and anybody worth their weight will try their hardest to make that happen.

And idk if im just really high atm or what, but in the most respectful way possible: If you are not enjoying what you are buying, why not grow your own?

some of the dispo stuff is good and works just fine... just a lot of it doesn't work for me..... really depends on he brand.

i've grown good outdoors but was never able to grow good indoors...

also about the smell of cannabis, i notice some distinct smells, but there are SO MANY different smells that come from cannabis now, that i don't find smell to be an indicator of how good it is.... can't really tell if it's going to be good from looks either. i just have to smoke it.... good cannabis hits the lungs a specific way... i can tell within under a minute of smoking if bud is going to get me high or not. i've never really found bud to creep up on me, like people say "creeper strains", not saying some people don't get affected that way.
