Imagine replacing the actor in a biopic with the actual person? Imagine watching Fear and Loathing with Hunter S. Thompson, himself, in all the scenes?

For the movie Looper, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was given a makeup job that was supposed to make him resemble Bruce Willis, his future self in the movie. But it didn't make him look like Bruce Willis. He just looks like Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Imagine using AI to insert a Moonlighting (1985) Bruce Willis into Looper, replacing J. Gordon-Levitt? Moonlighting was Bruce's breakout role, and I mention it because he was only 5 years older than Levitt's character in the first season.

this is completely possible right now, I've seen a few short clips appearing on reddit that do just this.

Fat boy slim is also doing something similar in his current set where he has big stars singing along to his tracks.

Bruce Willis reportedly sold the rights to his likeness as his illness was getting much worse so that it can be used in AI gen films, but there seems to be debate about what actually happened here from other sources

I think we're going to see a lot of this in the coming years - look out for the next big block buster staring Marlin Brando
