MODAFINIL QUESTION

took 400mg of modafinil at 4am

200mg at 4:15am

Another 400mg at 10:30am

It's currently 1 o'clock and I'm so exhausted I have work I needa push through today

this is a lot.
are you sure you got the doses right?
200mg keep me awake almost 24 hours. doesn't mean i don't get tired after 10 or 12 of work, especially if it's cognitive stuff.

I started off with 100, which lasted about 2 months. It's been 2 years now, and i take about 800-1000mg of mod a day. It sucks being "addicted" to the feeling mod gives you. Because once it becomes your new norm, theres no getting off it.

BS! It's not addictive.
I did that daily for months and at worst you feel knackered the next day without it but feel normal the day after that.

Just stop taking it on a day when you have nothing to do and can relax or sleep.
 
It's not addictive like meth or opioids but it definitely has potential for causing withdrawal symptoms.
If i take modafinil 400-800mg for a week every day and than i suddenly stop it's like being much less congnitively sharp, foggy mind, cravings for opioids in my case ( cause they make me enjoy relaxing ). It's actually not that weak dopamine agonist in 600mg doses and it lasts very long. I can get more tired on amphetamines than on modafinil...
It's great productivity boosting stimulant but if it doesn't work for you It's because
1, your tolerance
2, sleep debt ( your sleep was not good for some time probably )
3, derivation of dopamine and other excitatory amines
4, maybe lack of nutrition and lack of proper hydratation. Try 1 liter of watter with 6 tea spoons of sugar + 1/2 (half) tea spoon of salt. Drink it slowly like sipping on tea.
5, Vitamines and minerals...
But without proper break and proper sleep it still won't hold u productive forever. After a few days it's actually wasting to take it without a pause.
 
it's basically about what you do when you on it.
i can work all day if i start working.
but i can also have fun doing other things, if that's what i started doing.
so it's basically: what do you want to do today, because that's basically what you will be doing all day.
