Film "Poison" by Todd Haynes

Of course, AIDS is not the only motif in the movie, "Poison," by Todd Haynes but it is one motif in the movie. It's rated NC-17 and is one of my favorite films, along with "Masala: Good Fortune, Bad Karma" and the movie, "KIDS," which is also rated NC-17 but is still worthwhile to watch and is also about AIDS.

What movie are you referring to?

I don't recall seeing a movie specifically about AIDS but maybe something will spark a memory.
“Poison” by Todd Haynes

The Most Famous Movie About AIDS Is Probably “Philadelphia,” Starring Tom Hanks, But I Never Saw It.

Also, “An Early Frost,” Is About AIDS, But It’s Tragic, Not Funny.

There Is Also A Play Called, “Angels In America,” With Meryl Streep, But I Never Saw It.

If I recall it's three different movies in one film.

There's a movie based on Querelle.

There's a movie that is a sketchy eighties television documentary.

There's a black-and-white fifties B-movie that is about an affliction between heterosexuals which is really about how AIDS affected the gay male community.

Borrowed it from the public library in Wageningen in the late nineties.
