@badfish and mebalzilch: I'm sure that I've posted this before, but when I think of SOAD, all I think of now is this. Check out her other links; she's really quite good.
 
Yeah, and can do some decent improvisation too. It's something that has really been lacking in classical music in the last couple hundred years, but the younger contemporary crew seem to be bringing it back. I saw Cameron Carpenter in concert a few months ago, and at one point he had to switch organ consoles from the normal remote stage one to the built-in one. Because every console will act differently, he had to get a feel for a new one, so he just improvised a little 'ditty' (i.e. a fugue in four voices) based on an older Bob Dylan song. Pretty amazing really; I could hardly follow what he was doing, and he was basically just riding the music.
