4 months minimum on the road, preferably 6. Pretty good deal I think, most people work all year for a 2 week holiday. Would rather spend a few months away and then go back than just not go away at all.

What good things are you going to start doing when you get your own place?

Lol, I wasn't trying to have a "My life's better than yours" argument, I was agreeing with your idea of teaching but think the perpetual cycle of coming home taking up space in your mums house, working some minimum wage job & doing nothing but saving for your next holiday isn't really a viable plan for the future. If you keep doing that there'll come a point where your 30 & your sitting in your maws house with no job & no money. Get the TEFL thing & go somewhere permanently man.

What good things? Nothing in particular, I'm pretty happy with my life at the moment, just don't like where I'm living or the fact that I'm living at my mum's. So my own place, within walking distance of the clubs etc I like to go to & I'll be sound. Do you reckon that everyone else on here that doesn't spend half their year saving & half their year travelling leads a boring unfulfilled life?
 
i'm not denying that your trips look fun spade but i really don't think i could hack how much you hate the other 7 months of the year. I honestly think I personally woul enjoy my life more as it is, living in a great city with a good group of friends etc and not getting the chance to go away much than I would having 4-5 amazing months in a year and then having the other 7-8 stuck in shitsville with nothing to do. not having a dig (fo serious this time) the way you do it clearly works better for you but balanced out i don't think it's impossible that p_c enjoys his year more in total.

hey crackhead, did you tell your mummy about your plan to leave glasgow at some point? that's why she's offered you help with a mortgage, the thought of her little soldier leaving town probably horrifies her so she's tightening those apron strings, haha!

btw if you do get a mortgage on a flat, there's no way you'll move out soon, you'll be there for fucking years, guaranteed.

Haha, tbh I think it was my plans of quitting my job & fucking off to Ibiza that prompted her offer of help. I was giving it the "there's fuck all point staying round here, I can't afford rent, I need to move out of here soon" etc. She said I could afford a mortgage & if I could save up a bit of cash she'd help me sort it. Basically she didn't want me going to Ibiza for a few months then coming back to take up a room in her house, eat her food & collect a giro. Which is fair enough I suppose lol. I just never realised they'd be willing or able to help me get a mortgage, but apparently they are so fair does, I'll take their help while I can.

Aye, that's probably true. I like Glasgow though. It's not like I'm gonna be buying a flat in a place I hate. I wouldn't buy a flat where I stay right now because I wouldn't want to be stuck here for years, I don't mind being stuck in city centre Glasgow for years.

Naw but I dont think many people can be that happy with working monday to friday (especially those with shit jobs) for 2 days off a week to get pissed and a 2 week holiday at some point in the year. Its pretty pish state of affairs innit? Why should we work so fucking much for so little time off.

The way you are talking you would think this has been my situation for years. It hasnt. I spent 7 months before this current trip in a shit city I didnt want to be in. For the 4 years previous Ive lived in Edi which I fucking love and managed to travel a good bit. Spending 8 months in a shit city within a 4 year period isnt too bad considering the rest was spent in a city I adore or travelling the world.

Personally I need something big to look forward to, I dont want stability, I dont want routine, I dont want to get stuck in the same place, I want change, to see new things, have new experiences and meet new people it just doesnt happen often enough if you stick around in the same town or city.

It's mostly Dubstep but with some very interesting variations on the genre, also a very intreresting minimal DnB tune :)
There's samples of the tracks on there and it'll be out on the 7th of March ;)

Is it uploaded anywhere else? Maybe you could wap it on MediaFire (I put all my tunes I need to send out to people on there. Free membership for a "normal account" which works just fine :) ).

Police just knocked me up, got arsey, told 'em to get tae fuck... got precedent on my side... but some new chickadee. Seems keen. So "arrested" me through the window then ran away calling for backup when I told her to fuck off... Somewhat firmly... but she haz badgez, and hatz, and Nazi Symapthiez... cunt...

On my side - about 60mins before the "proper" piggies turn up (yet again 8)) and about a 50/50 chance of being properly busted when they arrive... Would rather skip the busting at the moment if I were totally honest...
