Benzos Recommended pharms for acute insomnia and anxiety

Captain Heroin: both my mother and I have had sleep studies done, and had no positive results or gaine any information that is helpful.
Dcraver: this sounds scary, very reminescent of ambien. It gives me night terrors and makes me sleep walk. It would make me think I had been murdered in every dream i had. But Ive never had a dream like that before or since taking it.

I think something with strong muscle relaxing abilities and a long half life. I need to be able to take my medication at least 4-5 times a week for my para/insomnia, depersonalization disorder, and anxiety. Please remember that I take my adderal, so I need something to take the edge off
The mood stabilizer is prescried to me as a sedative/mood enhancer.

Sorry but I don't think they have invented the drugs that can actually help the OP with his problems. I've heard great things about Indica Cannabis though...

I have been smoking $150 of medical grade marijuana, a week, for years. Cannabis simply is not worth it's financial/social problems it causes. Indicas are boring and bring sluggishness. I'd rather have a sativa and see if I could sleep.

Temazepam has no positive effects for me. Even at 90 mg I can function normally without a hint of relaxation/sedation. I'm not sure why, but my doctor was unwilling to continue my prescription for it. She doesn't think it has many therapeutic benefits for me, since it takes a massive dose in combination with 2 mg of clonazepam to get me to sleep.

How many years must i go without rest!!!?????

^damn, I'm feeling the same way. Please I would die to just have about 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep!!!

Benzos and ambien made the shit much worse for me in the end, in fact they only helped for about a month.

Melatonin never works for me. It does induce sleep occasionally, but when it does I have the worst night terrors imaginable. I'd rather be awake, than in a hellish-schizophrenic dream world. Z-drugs bring about the same night terrors.

Benzos are the mist effective so far, other than rapid build up of tolerence and dependency.

you get enough sleep when you're dead.. spend as much time awake as you can. You will eventually fall asleep.

You don't understand, it makes life he'll when you go years without rest. It affects your mind and body. As my insomnia has increased it has brought on serious depression. Sleep is necessary to your quality of life.

Insomnia has been hell to deal with that's for sure but maybe making the most out of it isn't so bad. I think I'll end up collecting disability and playing lots of video games until this shit goes away. I used to be a hard worker and used to be in great shape, but really the lack of sleep really fucks me up too. I always look like I've been smacked in the face with a 50lb. bag of heroine these days.
Entheo the kpins can actually really fuck your sleep up, maybe you should try to endure the hell of WD. Sleep quality may eventually return check the wiki article under benzo withdrawal and elderly sleep quality improving.
Opiates might help some. They are good for Restless Legs IME, but they didn't work for Heath Ledger who was only getting about 2 hours of sleep a night on a shit ton of benzos, Z-drugs, and opiates.

melatonin can be weird. I have the 3mg tablets compounded with B6. If i take a whole tablet, I will wake up with rebound insomnia 3-4 hours later and never really be able to get back into a deep sleep. If I take half, I usually wake up sometime during the middle of the night but am able to go back to sleep. If I take a quarter or less, it straight up KNOCKS ME OUT. I took less than a quarter sublingually last night and I contemplated skipping classes this morning. This never happens to me. Try a very low dosage of melatonin. I hear it's more effective than a higher dose.

I have gone willingly gone through the full course of k pin withdraw multiple times, so I don't thnk it's rebound/paradoxical insomnia.
Restless legs syndrome and fibromyalgia run in my family, and I have chronic pain from past injuries affect my quality of sleep as well. I need something to help though. So far benzos work the best, I just become dependant to them and tolerence increases rapidly.

Is cyamemazine (Tercian here) available in the US? It's like Seroquel but it's another class of antipsychotics, and it's a very efficient anxiolytic as well as an hypnotic.

I couldn't find a listing for it in America. That sounds like an interesting option, especially since it's not a benzo. Are night terrors and interupted sleep side effects?

I don't know, I'm prescribed quite a hefty dose of it, but there's still some tolerance issues (but no dependency).

I wake up 10 times a night anyway, it's not a miracle drug by any means, but at least I can sleep a little bit with that.

edit: do you have trimipramine (Surmontil) in the US? Very sedative and efficient hypnotic, of the tricyclic family...

Got trazadone 100-200 mg at bedtime along with my joins and upped my lamictal dose to 150 mg. I also got a couple 6 mg samples of doxepin as a back up.
We talked about switching to lunesta but I don't want to fuck with that ever again. My doc might switch me over to amyltryptaline and alprazolam if this round doesn't work.
What are the contraindications of trazadone and doxepin; respectively?
