Yo sup foos?

Just got my bankai on, ate some lorazepam and I'm working up the balls (waiting for it to kick in) to call my old boss and ask for my job back since I hate my current one a lot a lot. I have a pretty good chance at getting it back, I left on good terms, they were sad to see me go, and when I went in on monday to pick up my W2 i sort of overheard that they were short staffed... worst case scenario they just say no. Whhhooo I am not good with shit like this tho, I have way too much pride. Wish me luck
 
Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for. Almost all of the jobs I've had as an adult (meaning not the bullshit part time jobs I had in high school) have been in the automotive industry. It is harder work, and it sucks getting dirty and cut up but it's what I'm best at/ used to doing. I'm actually shooting for what I was doing there right before I left. I was doing more secondary breakdowns of parts that were already removed from cars and photo inventory so I could turn around and sell the parts online for the company. It was neat because I still got to work with what I was familiar with but it was a lot cleaner, less stressful, and pretty diversified. There's nothing like getting to do different stuff all day to make time fly (and to be honest it was pretty fucking easy). That would be cool if I could get that back, and even if not I just want to get out of where I'm at now so bad so I would take a grease monkey job. I'd also be getting about $1500 less a year and have a commute that's longer by about a half hour but dude who fucking cares. I have to get away. And what a better choice to somewhere I'm already used to working where they actually like me and not for this ballbusting prick that's looking for stuff to give me a hard time about.


edit: And I already called my boss's cell but no answer so I left a message just saying to give me a call back when they get a chance. I didn't want to get into it over a voicemail

I'm not a big fan of mechanic work. Because one, everybody knows what car parts are worth, so it's hard to stick it to folks with mark ups. And B, it's hard, dirty work.

uhh, I have no idea what car parts are worth, tbh...like even refilling windshield washer is a journey for me.

With talk like that I don't ever recommend that you ever take your car to a mechanic on your own....You'll get charged $100 for a lightbulb and a whole shit load of "services" that you don't need

Having a vaj already puts you at a disadvantage, don't give those fuckers even more ammo to use against you
