there must be, but your observation is so-so, i happen to have almost ZER0 pigment in my skin lol, but there are plenty of people of color, in the sense of ethnicity as well.
i am surrounded by reservations where i live... im not native, but their way of life has always been high on my mind, and now living here, im surrounded by the local tribes culture, and current situation, and their situation or living arrangements; make me feel ashamed. my white ancestors lived well with the Powhatan's in NE US, but reading the 'closing statement' to Chief Seattle's "treaty", its easy to take it as an honest testimony to us white peoples cultural ideas, beliefs in self preservation, treatment of each other & who ever else is around, and really a spit in the face at the end on us.
the way the treaty has turned out here, is one that can only be sustained by adopting capitalism to thrive, and is in many ways, communism, in a bad unthoughtful way....
