I drive high all the time..
There have been times I felt too baked to drive and opted to wait before driving, but thats not too common for me. For some people smoking a moderate amount of weed doesn't significantly affect their ability to drive, period..
Never said there isn't a tolerance factor with alcohol..
Just that we shouldn't lump pot in with booze in terms of impairment while behind the wheel.. Every substance is unique in how much and in what matter people are generally likely to become "impaired" on.
But -- there are PLENTY of kids I wouldn't let drive my car while they are high.QUOTE]
i probably wouldn't let those same kids drive my car sober..i'm very protective over the olds..

As cocaine and amphetamines increase alertness and concentration, driving on them is a good idea right?Just that we shouldn't lump pot in with booze in terms of impairment while behind the wheel.. Every substance is unique in how much and in what matter people are generally likely to become "impaired" on.
I can't believe we're comparing alcohol and weed in regards to driving at this point.
I've never been so high (from smoking) that I could not drive safely. If I was pulled over, I could "sober up".
Any time I drink 10+ beers, I know I would not be driving safely. Hell, I probably wouldn't make it home.
While this is not universal (obviously), alcohol is a different beast. There is a reason blunt cruising is so popular, and not drink-cruising.
Should we drive while impaired? No. Are there certain substances that are less endangering? Of course.
