I remember having dinner at my best friends house years ago (in high school) - her grandfather was watching us while her mum & dad went to dinner. He said we were having calamari for dinner, and we thought that we'd be having crumbed or grilled calamari rings, or something similar. Turns out, he steamed a whole squid, and didn't clean it properly - so it was still filled with roe and ink. Worst meal ever.

Nurofen Back Pain, Tension Headache, and Migraine products all have the same active ingredient. And the same amount. Why are they packaged as 3 separate products?

That's kind of what I figured. See I was looking at the packets trying to figure out what exactly discerned each one. Then I realise there wasn't any difference.

But I bought the back pain one anyway because it was to treat back pain < sucker like everyone else I guess.

Too bad the Chemist was shut. Nurofen plus owns all three (one).

Isn't the back pain one extended release? Perhaps that's just panadol back pain.

The packet doesn't say anything about extended relief. All three targeted relief products are ibuprofen lysine which according to wikipedia just means it's absorbed by the body quicker than ibuprofen.

I wish cheque books were still popular. They're so classy. I could get a cheque book holder, and a nice pen.

We write cheques at work all of the time

Our books aren't fancy though, they are scuffed up with a lot of ink scribbles on them becasue people have tried to jump start pens on the covers

You can at Coles - you just have to have a "I pay with cheque and here is my authorised signature" card thingie.

I can't remember what it's called - basically you can apply to Coles to be able to pay by cheque. They take your details, cheque account details, signature etc, and you get a card with a Coles cheque account number on it, plus a copy of your signature.

Then when you pay you show them the card, they stick the numbers in, plus the details of the cheque, then check that your signature matches the one on the card. Basically just a way to prove that your cheque is good and you are who you say you are.

Pretty sure you can get an application from the service desk.
