Things you do to reduce tolerance.

There's only 2 things I do really to reduce my tolerance.

One: I stop smoking for 2 or 3 days.

Two: Switch the type of weed i'm getting.


I find no 2 weeds are the same, and switching between different ones works, but not quite as much as not smoking for 2 or 3 days.


So, what are some of the things all of you do to reduce tolerance?

Change your method. I find that If im not used to a certain method I get higher doing it.

I started smoking joints, tolerance got higher so I bought a pipe. I thought, if I inhale pure weed smoke instead of weed, tobacco and paper thru a pipe it will get deeper into my lungs and Il use less grass. When my tolerance grew on that I bought a bong so I can take even bigger hits and get high on the same amount of weed if not less. Obviously you cant do this forever as you'l run out of methods but its served me well as I dont smoke too regularly anyway.
 
don't smoke. tolerance goes down quickly after short breaks, and way down with longer breaks. Beware though. After short breaks it doesn't take long for the tolerance to go back up to where it was before. I stopped smoking for a month and I got sooo incredibly high. My tolerance was at a point where I wouldn't be high for more than a half hour. Now I'm pretty damn high after 2 hours, and the come down lasts damn near all day.
 
I go through cycles of what I smoke... I start out with regs, then I get dank when I stop getting high enough off regs, then I smoke hash after I get used to the dank... After that I take about 2 weeks off and then regs will get me high again.
 
Yeah switching it up keeps tolerance in check most of the time. As mentioned above try smoking middies if you've been smoking headys, you might be pleasantly surprised about how effective and different it is! Plus its cheaper :)

Reverse it if you've been on middies, try some good dank if you can.

this is a good idea actually, i recently broke my bong and had to use it as a pipe for a while, that actually worked, it was a dirtier feeling hit somehow but it still buzzed me.

i wouldnt smoke joints but to follow on from J&R's pipe to bong progression, i'd add cooking and vaping as viable options
 
I stop smoking for periods of over a week. I've had massive tolerance before. Now I smoke once a week or so and that keeps my tolerance at pretty much nothing. I've done the whole high all day every day scene. After a year I've realized its pointless.
 
Yeah true enough. I get much higher when I hit the pipe. Regardless of how much I've smoked recently. Hash and hash oil around here is nothing to get excited over. It just doesn't get me nearly as high as bud does. Also, it's all pretty high grade shit we get around here. So different strains are pretty much the way to go.
 
taking a break for a few days is the best way to get your tolerance down. drink alot and exercise during those few days too....

normally i take a break from 1 week to 3 then it's all good again.
 
Yeah tollerance is a bitch, i smoke daily, unless availability or money is an issue, but generally its not and i have a stash :) anyway, my tolerance has goteen to the point where i stay high for like 20-30 minutes i guess, although the weed i have right now isn't that strong, but even when i get some really chronic stuff it dosnt last as long as it used to, and after breaks sure i get higher, but after a session or two my tolerance seems to go right back to where it was, so looks like i will need a longer break, but i just dont want to!
 
When the weed high started lasting as long as a crack high I knew my tolerance was too high.
 
Either switch up how you get high, including the setting too.
Or take a break. Those are pretty much the only two methods lol.

Plus when I take a break I feel so much better afterwards as far as getting my body back on track.
This summer's gonna be my longest break, man is it gonna be amazing when September gets here lol.
 
If you're a daily smoker simply staying sober for 1 month will get rid of the THC out of your system, but if you're a daily smoker that period of time will also be impossible for you to stay sober., my recommendation is to stay sober while drinking energy drink every day, and taking Niacin (it's a vitamin that flushes your body, gets rid of bad shit etc) for a week, I've passed drug tests when I smoked weed every day for months, had to do an unexpected drug test in 5 days, and drinking energy drinks twice a day with niacin diet enables me to pass the test.

Believe it or not those sober drinks that are very overpriced and sold online are basically half energy drinks because when you're on energy drinks you sweat a lot which helps your body get rid of impurities, and piss a lot too.
 
I smoke pot daily and Ive never noticed any tolerance issues , every bowl I smoke gets me high as hell.

Yep, the stuff I get is about as good as it gets (around here anyway). Even the "smoke all day every day" people get blazed as hell from a couple cones, so I don't understand why everyone's saying their high's last 20-30 minutes.
