Short Sacks

Say your in a situation where you cant have a sack weighed out in front of you, like you meet a dealer somewhere for a quick drop. When you get home and weigh it out, how short is too short?

I just bought an eighth of high quality stuff and when I weighed it out and it was .2 short. I think this is about the most I am willing to go. I feel its so small that its most likely is a discrepancy between our scales, but if it was anymore I would call the guy back. I think it also depends on how big the sack is, if it had been a half or a full oz. i wouldn't even think to call him out on .2 grams.

Would you ever call back a dealer if your sack is just a little short, or at all? Would your guy reimburse you? I think thats the mark of a truly legit dealer, if he will admit to it and hit you back or hook up your next sack.

yeah don't say anything, it wasn't an accident and they aren't here to give you a fair deal, they are trying to make maximum profit. calling them up ensures that they wont bother hooking you up again because they know they will make less money because they can't rip you off. if it's a big rip off just go to someone else.

I don't need a scale, I can usually tell the exact weight by eye so I call people out all the time. It's very common practice where I live to sell short bags.

However, the only time I call someone out is when it's not someone I usually deal with. Some people sell short bags, fact of life. So I only call those people if we're desperate for some bud, and the legit dealers first. Thats just the way it goes..

I do however find it annoying when a known short-seller claims his bags are legit. I mean, if I was a fag and sold short bags, I would just admit it and tell people to buy from someone else if they don't like it. Outside of a few people new to pot, they're not fooling anyone. So that part I never really got.

Depends on the situation. If it comes to a choice between some shitty beaster at 20 a Gram & some sativa crystal loaded og/diesel exotic type bud at 20 a .8 i much rather the .8 in that situation.

Pot loses moisture as it dries out. Is it possible that the 5.7% difference in weight is due to the pot drying out between the time it was weighed and the time it was sold? I highly doubt a dealer, distributor or commercial farmer would care for their product properly. People up the chain have probably suffered the same fate. Imagine losing 5.7% weight on a kilo bag of pot!

i have dealt with this guy many times and the reason i always go back is because he always has really really dank weed and it usually varies the other way, as in i will usually get 3.7-4.0 for a negotiated eighth. i think he eyes out the sack when he can't get his roomate's scale. ima definitely let it slide this time

I'll tell ya now, nothing more annoying than 14 year olds who demand you weigh out the 8th / teenth right in front of them. yeah cause i'm gonna risk getting busted with scales and what have you so you know for sure your 8th weighs up. Anything over a quart I have no problem.

& Yes i've received a couple short sacks in my time, the worst was 1g under on a quart. Called him up, got no help so deleted his number. Just call them up say it doesn't weigh right, if the dealer really wants your business he'll sort it out.

i hate when they weigh the bag in

fuckers

cant smoke the bag

plus ive seen some damn heavy bags in my day

If someone exactly like me (but not me...because selling drugs is bad) were to sell weed on a regular basis, I think they'd make sure to always count right as to maintain a good client base. It works!

If I get stiffed .2 or .3 I'm either going to pay them or not pay them, and if I have the option later on I'll find someone else more honest.

Even with buying something legitimate the phrase is "buyer beware", but weed is illegal so that do you expect?

depends on past experiences.

if it's a small amount missing from an 8th, and someone i've dealt with often (and fairly), then i'll likely give it no mind. the guy you're talking about just sounds a little sloppy, rather than sheisty.

if it's a new connect, then i'll probably just not call them again. i can't discuss pricing specifically, but i had a new guy sell me a $X bag that came out to .8 - i was a bit pissed, but the quality was off the charts. next time around it was .6 and i haven't spoken with him since. (a friend of mine called him out on it and his excuse was "man, i'm selling a blunt's worth, not a gram" -- sketchy, ghetto, rip-off bullshit through and through)

but, again, it's generally a matter of judgment. if it's a friend and my 8th is .5 short, i'll just tell them about it and hope they make it up to me next time around. less than that isn't worth bothering, and if i'm buying in any larger quantity it's going to be an indoors-with-a-scale type of situation anyway.

i don't have a scale nor do i really care. if an eighth is off by as much as a half gram i'll notice it by feel anyway but any less discrepancy and i may as well be complaining that i'm gonna get less high because the weed is more wet than usual or because there are 5% less trichomes per green area than the last batch had. if i had to pay out the ass for it i'd be more stingy but nah. in regards to weighing the bag in... well those dealers are just ignorant. all you need to do is press a button to zero the scale and null the bag's weight before piling on the weed. tis not rrrrocket science!

I get annoyed with people who want their sacks weighed out, show some damn trust in who you buy from or dont buy from them at all.

I feel the same way. I used to sell small amounts just so I could smoke for free, and it would always annoy me when people would demand to see their shit weighed out in front of them. I would always be like WTF man, are you serious? Like if you're that concerned, weigh it on your own damn scale.

Especially since I pretty much hooked every single person up real fat, like .1 or .2 over the intended amount.

yeah anyone who says they can eye out a sack is a fool for thinking so. I've gotten 4 grams of dank that looked like 1.5 and 2 grams that looked like 4.

I usualy never weigh out bags, but if I asked to see a bag weighed out and it was .2 or .3 short I would expect the dealer to make it right. Dealers should realize that you are doing them a favor from buying their product, it's a service if they do a sub par job they should go out of business.

That's the stupidest thing I've read all day! Customers are doing their dealers a favour? This isn't your first year commerce class buddy. Right, so someone comitting a very minor crime has the moral superiority just because the seller is committing a very dangerous crime? Next time you ask your dealer to sell you some drugs, remember to add 'Hey buddy, just remember I'm doing you a favour, so don't fuck up!' and see how quickly you get laughed at/the fuck beaten out of you.
