Please Actually Give the Discord some attention. It is ruining your credibility.

So @JesseOrangeman aka (presumably) buttrot seems to be a troll that goes on the discord and tries to argue with Cherry and then act all butthurt when his incel humor and bad jokes aren't well met. He then attacks all staff as being triggered feminists and complains that they oppress him.

When you dig into it, HE is the one antagonizing people - inserting himself into conversations he's not a part of, acting hostile once in, and then running to the forum to claim that the discord bitches be threatening to kill all men. They aren't. Cherry did use a react emoji that pointed to his comment which said "Gets no pussy", that's about the extent of her reaction to him.

It appears he's using a VPN to hide where he's from, but behavior patterns do suggest that he may be an active forum member evading detection through logging in elsewhere.

In terms of the security issue, as far as I know the Discord does have an anti-spam/anti-bot filter for new members that was put in place due to major issues with trolls and spammers, and it may be set to kick people out if they don't pass verification in a certain amount of time.
It isn't ideal, but it is what was decided on collectively by the staff back when I was running things.
I have no idea as to what the policy is now, but I presume that it hasn't changed.


Usually when people come to one platform to bash the other, it stems down to some petty interpersonal drama that they are skewing out of context in an attempt to gain sympathy/revenge/etc.

There is a problem with some trolls on there for sure. I dont see the trolls though i only use thee discord for being a harm reduction mod and also performance enhancng drugs I dont really go where the trolls are

Some are safer than others, yet in the end this is the best advice. Everyone should use their own judgement what makes sense for them.

It's not that they don't see.

There isn't anything you can say that they haven't been told a thousand times before.

They already see. The problem is they disagree.

They've heard it a gazillion times. I promise you they see.

They see the road you'd like them to take. They prefer not to take it.

So they see but disagree and it's not so much that they're not aware

the bigger problem is they don't care.

And the more aware they are and the less they care. The bigger problem you have.

I think a prudent idea might be to divorce the discord and forums formally by name somehow. But what do I know.

I'm cis and totally not a police officer, and I can confirm. If you're a cis law enforcement officer on Bluelight you're treated like a second class citizen instead of the hero you are.
 
I have no idea who that kid is but its low effort. The entire idea of the BL discord was technically mine several years ago. I helped create it. Sad to see it has evolved into probably the worst nightmare I could have imagined.

I wanted it to be a bastion of free speech and it became the opposite. Arral even stole that word "bastion" from me and included it in the description 😄. I meant it to be a bastion of free speech, not a bastion of free speech only for hyper leftist self proclaimed anarchists.

Just change the name. We all know both do not respect the BLUA. They have their own BLUA which was admittedly rewritten during a meth binge. Sorry for dirty laundry.
