"Drug Slang of the Americas" (2022 ed.) — What is the slang in your area?

I live in Orlando and I'm half Puerto Rican.

Heroin has always been called monteca(lard) or tec, teca. Coke has always been blow, pedico(parrot) but as soon as suburban white kids got into heroin, it and coke respectively became down and up..

I spent quite a bit of time in the California bay area and the Mexicans had no idea what I was talking about when I asked for monteca. Turns out they call heroin chiva(goat).

To me dope is anything like heroin (h), fentanyl (fetti, down) opiates in general
Meth-up, ice, go fast, shards, cream, whiz
Meth pipe-bubble, pookie
Xanax-depending on strength footballs, bars, zans, zannibars
Clonazepam-kpins
Weed-bud (it's legal recreationally close enough to where I live that you just go to the store to buy it now)
 
You know the DEA has a book of drug slang that they release every year or so. The most recent one they declassified was 2018. It has more slang terms than I've ever even thought about. And it goes thru every drug there is.
Urban dictionary is also a good place to learn about slang terms.
 
Sloped- loaded on basically any downers

Slopehead- One who is always loaded on downers

Fetty/Fety/Feti- Fentanyl powder(but not actually in powder form. Comes pressed in bricks like coke.

"Boy" "White girl".

Best code I ever had was a guy I would call and just ask if I could stop by and hang out and if he wasnt holding he would simply say "Nah im busy tonight insert excuse" or "Sure I got a couple hours if you do" --- and youd be stayiin at least 45 iff you were so bold to show up at the crib

phine 100s ppl use to call smurfs or ghosts depending on color, 60s pumpkin, xannys footballs. GENERIC ASS SHIT THAT AINT FOOLIN NOONE EVER.

Funny story time NO REASON TO READ REALLY I never sold pot but every now and than I may help a friend out back in the day -- I get a call from a buddy "Hey man can I get an 8th I hear you got really good shit right now" --- "Man I don't know what the hell you are talking about I am going to hang up now" Click ---- Same guy calls again. Christ pick it up before he can talk "Hey man wanna meet up and go skateboarding?" --- "Nah im just looking for a bag of pot" --- at this point I think dude is trying to set me up and say "I have no idea what you are talking about a bag of pot" --- "So and so says he just grabbed one and they are dank AF" --- HANGUP HANGUP

Next day I get a call from the dude just super embarassed -- man I was on like 70mg of 2c-i I am so sorry about all that.... "Fuck man Ill talk to ya in person soon dont worry too much"

some dude and girl came up to me asking for something that might've had like "fluffy" . it was like three words fluffy something maybe. i dunno maybe it wasn't fluffy. i can't remember what it was, but it was something cute. i thought he was asking about which dispensary is best to get weed, but he was like "nah. we're looking for hard"... this was last season in 2025. it was right next to the grocery store in the suburbs of boston.
 
fluffy is hard that is a interesting phrase

For awhile alot of weed strains had names like heroin or w/e drug sound alike -- before pot was legal and growers seemed to love to namedrop that shit lol

not sure exactly if it was fluffy... it definitely sounded like he was talking about weed saying some goofy name.

i assume fentanyl is hard.. i dunno. i wish i could remember what he said. i'll read around and see if anybody can refresh my memory.
 
I remember in the Bay Area when crack was first really big, they would call it "work". They'd say " need work?"
Much longer ago in the Midwest they called PCP " tick", because people used to claim it was actually "synthetic THC", so THC="tick". It was also called Angel Dust, especially when smoked.
Then there were "Ts and Blues", which was a heroin substitute made from talwin ( a lousy type of opioid that I haven't heard about in years) mixed with blues, some kind of antihistamine. Not that I ever tried them mixed, just talwin alone.
Also, Dors-and-fours, a really potent combo of glutethimide ( Doriden) and Tylenol 4 ( 60 mg of codeine per). Another extinct thing.
And of course, how could I forget buying "lids" of "grass"? 😎

hard is crack usually around here --- than you got your classic boy/girl (May as well just say the shit lol) anything past that is fairly random and changes often. (Or should)

oh shoot we use to use lids of grass too haha
 
I'm out of the loop now but:

Thingies = hydrocodone/percocet (typically on the phone people would ask for "something for the back")
Pizza dough = Old school Opana ER stop-signs (they smelled/tasted like pizza dough when you snorted them)
Footballs = 1mg blue xanax
High test = more expensive weed without seeds in it
Low test = Mexican brick weed (not around anymore from what I can tell)
Middies = weed that fell between the two above
Cutie Pie = Quarter pound of weed
White girl = cocaine, strangely no one used "boy" for heroin. They just called it H.
Rocks, Hard = crack cocaine
Lucy = LSD
Mandy = MDMA
Meow Meow = K

There were lots of other stupid local slang but I've forgotten most of them and most of the pharma drugs they referred to aren't on the market anymore anyway.
 
^ I remember having about a zip of mdma and someone asked me if it was meow meow --- what in the flying fuck?? "Its some research chemical" Nah told you what it was, bring the reagents man -- actually fck you for doubting me you miss out lol

I guess contextually a reasonable question but rubbed me the wrong way 100%

quopper = 1/4 lb or did 20 yrs ago or w/e -- doubt its changed as its weed. Lids is still pretty normal round here
 
Peanut = pressed amph pills of a rectangular shape with a line in the middle for easy snapping (they normally have some big brand's logo stamped onto it such as adidas, redbull, rolls royce, gucci etc kinda ironic since they cost between 50 cents to a dollar when bought individually and can cost as low as 200 pills for 40 bucks)
Pacman/Turtle = expensive but strong meth/amph (more meth than amph) pills with XTC style press designs.
Cri = crystal
Craft = high end weed
Dill = dilaudid
Buvar = LSD
CC and poudre (french for powder) = cocaine
Roche (french for rock) = crack
Mush = shrooms
Ket = ketamine
Buckley = DXM

I dont know what buvar is or means

it isnt something id pick up on if someone said it (So points there). Well unless the context got real obvious "Got a sheet of buvar - im going to a festi!?" --- Id still inquire they invent too much new shit all the time. I thought "Meow meow" guy was fckin with me lol

Just a regional slang (we speak french).
 
ahh that may explain it ducking me dumb americano brain. Or maybe its just dope code like "Buckley" feel like you could get away with that forever. (And hopefully you shall - if DXM is even illegal lol)

I saw some ganster (I wanna say micheal franseze (Sp) but who cares) talking about how code for bringing his gun was just "You bringing your friend with you" --- than when you show up with no friend I suppose it looks weird; but I bet he could hire someone to tag along as part of "Friend"
