did you notice improvements at 6 months?Hey guys I just read the forum to get up to date. I also took Invega 6 injections in Canada and it fucked me up for 1.5 years. Since then I have recovered everything…orgasm back to normal, anhedonia went away at 9 months, caffeine came back, morning wood and sex drive came back partially, sleep took a long time to recover and it came back. I ended up taking abilify as I went back to the ward and now am recovering the only side effect off that which is erectile dysfunction due to lack of sex drive. To anyone who recovered their drive did it come back in waves? Feel free to message me or ask questions. It was the worst time of my life and to this day I’m still not over it. It been 3 years this January since my first injection and I just have really good days and some days where I feel hopeless and the life is sucked out of me.
I asked for TMS but they refused to give it to me because they really won’t admit that I got hurt from AP’s injections and psychiatry it’s a joke who ruin people’s life so they answered “there is no indication for us to give you TMS”TMS is a type of therapy where magnetic stimulation is used to calm the hyperactive areas of the brain. Usually helps people with depression. ECT or electroshock therapy is a more severe treatment, usually done under anesthesia to treat the same issue. TMS and ECT both simulate the production of serotonin and dopamine. ECT is said to be more risky, while TMS is less invasive.
Hey you said they gave you cabergoline. Please how did it feel?I asked for TMS but they refused to give it to me because they really won’t admit that I got hurt from AP’s injections and psychiatry it’s a joke who ruin people’s life so they answered “there is no indication for us to give you TMS”
They don’t even let me try one session because they know very well I would have improvements and prove i got damaged from psychiatry so “hell nah, we don’t give you TMS”
Very happy to hear about your recovery. What were the doses of your 6 injections? Sometimes the number of injections are high but the doses are low.Hey guys I just read the forum to get up to date. No they don’t, i named wrongly the medication they prescribed (but it was a blocker) and I asked for dostinex but they refused because They have “dopamine-phobia” (they fear a receptor that it’s naturally inside the brain), this is some sort of psychosis they all have, idk why they fear so much dopamineHey you said they gave you cabergoline. How did you feel 3-3.5 months off. Did you notice any improvements because it seems dreary at the moment.Hey guys I just read the forum to get up to date. you might have a fast recoveryQuick update:
2 months and a week since last injection (1 injection of 100mg): Libido has returned. Sleep schedule is better (now I awake at 5am instead of 3am on somedays). Brain fog has lifted slightly and there are windows and waves. There are still waves of anhedonia but the effect is minimal compared to when it was at its peak (I'd say roughly 10-25%). Akathisia is almost non-existent and only appears in the form of teeth-clenching once in a while, again, very minimal effect. I still experience a lot of drowsiness, especially in the early morning and waves of racing thoughts/anxiety; however, these are manageable.
In my case, these improvements are gradual and rather subtle, they don't happen overnight. In my experience, the effects of invega acts in a decreasing and cyclical manner, such as the example of dropping a bouncy ball on the floor: the ball will bounce many times off the floor, the next bounce's apex will be lower than the previous bounce, and so on until it ultimately stops bouncing (hopefully this is the case).
I find that dopamine-boosting activities are very helpful in managing these side effects and also are a great way of passing time. Some examples are: exercising (walking, swimming, cardio), journaling/writing, watching tiktok/content on social media (when other activities are too hard to perform), getting sunlight, traveling, etc
Overall, I think eating well, sleeping well, getting outside more often (for sunlight exposure among other things) helps in recovery.
might be, how are you doing?you might have a fast recovery
took it over a month ago now, not doing great, my symptoms seem to be getting worsemight be, how are you doing?
Thats a very quick recovery, if it is recovery. I am experiencing similar windows as libido has improved and i still wake up at night, but at later times. Have racing thoughts in the morning and sometimes later.Quick update:
