"'Turn could easily be the strongest album of the year... The message on Turn is loud (ear bleedingly loud) and clear. From the first minute, main vocalist GW Sok shouts about how the need for artists, scientists, and humanitarians is much more important than weapons of mass destruction and wars. (And I'm pretty sure that "The shrub who took himself for a park" is most likely mister "Bush" who mistakenly thinks he represents the world.) Each song is executed with a relentless pounding of guitars and drums and the messages are stories and reflections about greed and consumption, unrest, and even the Pie-in-the-face gang. It's a clear example that music which calls for social awareness and/or change is much more effective when made with such an unavoidable vigor and not by some timid hippie with acoustic guitar. The angular guitars, in-your-face drums, rock cello, and punk vocals are flawless, like a well-slicked machine, perfected through numerous live performances. After a surprising 25 years of existence, The Ex have no signs of becoming stale, tame, or rusty; challenging themselves to bring completely new ideas into the mix.'' Jon Whitney - The Brainwashed Brain.Katrin (drums, vocals), Terrie (guitar), Andy (guitar), Rozemarie (acoustic bass, vocals), G.W. Sok (vocals"

My impression on the band was, their Frenh that the singer,
i hope by mistake shot his girl in a drug haze, accidently.

So i got a record of em, story s sticked, what happened.
i d feel shitty affter killin my ex. Would as pacifist.

Yeah, it's a great album. I think it gets overlooked these days. It's hard picking one particular song out but I really love Day of the Eagle

I think it may be having a slight renaissance. The "temporal overton window" of music has widened. Being into 50 years old music is way more hip than it was 50 years ago.

Great album. Like a late blooming perfection of the british blues rock that was peaking in popularity around 67-70. Also i think i found in it an inspiration for "Black hole sun" by Soundgarden. If you listen to the song "In this place" when he sings the title, and compare that to the verse opening of "Black hole sun", it's the same melodic and rhythmic sequence and even begins with the same word ("In this place" vs "In my eyes"). It's a very simple basic thing but iconic enough to suspect some concrete influence.

Incorrect, but that’s okay

Axo’s are salamanders that stay juvenile looking as adults. Endangered in the wild.. but thriving with people who breed them - not all of these people are good breeders. Some cut pieces off and “transplant” the tail onto another axo for the “cool colourful” look. Cunts. Evil evil evil
Love this, my homie speaks truth! 😁

Any ideology/religion that sanctions women & children as a lower caste - that abuses them, mistreats them and ranks them into a tier without human rights needs to be obliterated. ( They also treat their men as pawns for their ideology by virtue of their disrespect for biological reality, in favour of their ideological bullshit) 💪😡💜
