I never put a collar on my dog. I just carry it with me and the leash in case .. so I won't get a citation.

So what the heck would you do if that mutt suddenly decides to chase something it shouldn't be chasing? Or gets a scare and runs into traffic? No matter how obedient or well-trained, instinct can always take over.

And don't say 'oh my dog would never' - they ALL 'would never' until the one time that they do. It's also pretty inconsiderate of other people in public who are terrified of dogs, 'cause if you can't even snap on a leash if needed that's a dog not under the owner's control.

My kitty is currently hiding under my bed because it’s raining hard out. He was born outside and rescued outside when he was 6 months old. He was very sick and they didn’t even think he was going to make it but he had a turn around and did (all he has now is a little heart murmur). But now as an adult cat he gets super afraid of bad weather and I wonder if it’s because whatever he went through out there as a kitten. Anyways he’s chillin under there now. I just put one of my sweatshirts down there and he’s cuddled up in it.

Lol idk, I’m super sleep deprived but insomnia so I’m just rambling here in the cat thread … but I guess this is the place to do it right
