How dare you assume we serve wine in glasses, glass is transparent, transparency is a political term. We only serve our drinks in red party cups here despite the potential racism towards native Americans.

Frankly, the best thing I've found myself doing lately is completely disconnecting from the internet. I come on here for a bit but I set a time limit for how long I engage - same with reddit.

When I wake up in the morning, I give myself at least 45 minutes to an hour before I will check my phone or go on the computer. This morning I drank my coffee with the sun coming in through our windows, and just kind of daydreamed.

I make sure that I spend 45 minutes - 1.5 hours on my bike in the afternoon, time where I'm not consuming any media. When I am online, I make sure to catch myself if I'm being sucked into stuff that is making me feel intense emotions, and cut it off when it starts to build up. It has absolutely increased as of late, and it's been jarring to say the least.

All of this stuff scares the shit out of me, and, in the attention economy that we currently inhabit, it's designed to keep us going right back to the source for more evidence, more proof, more.... frustration.

In my daily bike rides through the city, I find that I'm refreshed by seeing people just walking around, living their lives. I might hear the odd conversation now and then, bust mostly I encounter people just kind of doing their thing, same as it ever was.

The best part, Elon and Trump and all those chucklefucks can't reach me there. I have the power to put down their influence by simply not engaging with it.

This may not be true for some people in the US, which sucks.

But the more I put them down, the less power they have over me, which means I have more of myself to give some kindness and goodness to the world. The internet strips us down - engages us socially yet in isolation. It evokes emotions that we alone must process and (realistically) distract ourselves from. It is an ample place to stoke fear and outrage, because the stoker needn't face the person they're doing it to.

The information you're posting here is good, and important. Some people need that lifeline to sanity. At the same time, there's a way in which we all can keep doubling down and going back into the breach to try the find that final point that'll win this grand argument. I don't honestly know if it can be won that way.

In the words of Joshua from Wargames - The Only Way To Win Is Not To Play. It's a good reminder to me sometimes.

I think that the prevention of the spread of hate content online is beneficial to not only the individual communities online and the people that inhabit them but to society at large.

People are radicalized every day through sites like 4chan, kiwifarms, and now twitter (x). These are real people that are also our neighbors, friends, family members, and coworkers.

Electronic communication is now ingrained in society

Dogwhistles are real and were far more common in the Jim Crow / Apartheid eras. The left has abused this term and also altered its meaning to mean completely other things. The way the terms racist, bigot, nazi, far-right and fascist have been abused to the extreme by the left has made these words lose all meaning. You can only cry wolf so many times before people stop caring. You've actually made people deaf to a possible fascist because they won't listen to your warning signs anymore.

At this point, "dogwhistle" just means anything you disagree with, regardless if there's true evidence of racism or not. This type of low-key communist shit is how innocent people got sent to Soviet gulags. Anything a person says can be twisted into disloyalty, even if they are one of your biggest allies. I see modern lefties doing this on a regular basis. It's why the left-wing has lost major support in pretty much the whole western world. People are tired of the neo-Marxist shit and group-think-speak used by the left to hunt for enemies that are only in their imaginations.

If the left wants to regain support, they have to clean house of their vanguard mentality. Vanguards are dangerous and have always led to radical human tragedies.

None of the things you've posted can be concretely said to mean what you think they mean. Elon Musk's speech in Germany about Germans not feeling guilty about the past has to do with how woke shit is attacking white German people with the same white guilt and anti-colonial non-sense that they've been doing in every western nation. Of course the left is going to call that a pro-racist rant. They've got nothing new to say. Anyone that opposes woke ideology is called a racist. But that rhetoric doesn't work on people anymore.

In a 2017 speech to the AfD youth wing, Höcke bemoaned German’s culture of remembrance of the Holocaust, saying, “We Germans, our people, are the only people in the world who planted a monument of shame in the middle of our national capital.” He called for Germany to stop atoning for Nazi crimes and make a "180-degree turn" in how it remembers its past.

Alexander Gauland, an AfD co-founder, former party leader, and current Member of Parliament, has engaged in Holocaust trivialization on several occasions. In a 2018 speech to the AfD youth wing, he said, “Hitler and the Nazis are just a speck of bird poop in more than 1,000 years of successful German history.” Gauland also said in 2017 that Germans should be “proud of the achievements of German soldiers in two world wars.”


Höcke has maintained he was unaware the banned slogan was used by Hitler’s storm troopers. His critics have rejected that defense, noting Höcke was a history teacher before his AfD days.

I already know that the AfD have an extremist element. I never denied that. I'm asking for proof that Elon himself is a neo-Nazi and far-right fascist.

Really sorry to see you wasted your time making this point. I never denied that the AfD were far-right. But it seems like they are gaining huge support in Germany and may topple the current left-wing government. Radical left populism has created a right-wing backlash in pretty much the entire western world. The degree to which countries go right wing will depend on the country. The AfD has a real chance of getting elected. The left is freaking out and yet never seems to show the slightest shred of self-reflection about why countries are turning right-wing now. They just blame everyone else.

The Dems in the US currently have 30% popular support, according to reputable polling. Yet they continue to blame the far-right, bigoted Americas, racism, whatever else. There's no self-reflection.

None of this has anything to do with whether Elon is far-right or a neo-Nazi. Most people who are against the radical left are going to hedge their bets with any right-wing party that has a legit chance of winning because they desperately want the radical left gone. In Germany that's going to be the AfD most likely. In Canada it will be the CPC which is right of centre.

Basically anyone who will defeat the far-left will get voted in. Anywhere. That's why Trump won. People would rather a convicted felon, grifter, bloviating, bellicose business man run the US than the radical left. That says it all. Radical left policy has been a fucking disaster.

The reasons are well known and highly expounded upon.

Open borders. Outrageous levels of spending. Climate policies that destroy productivity and increase poverty. Rampant inflation. Social policies that are anti-national, racist (mostly against traditional whites), anti-free economy, anti-sovereign, and extremely socially divisive. Increasing top-down, centralized government power and authority, even in confederate countries like Canada and the US where the States/Provinces are supposed to be mostly autonomous.

I could go on.

Me personally, I have never experienced so much direct intrusion into my own life as I have under radical left government. The vaccine passports that made life impossible, banning me from flying or leaving my country, threatening me with job loss and personal deprivation if I don't take their product. Suddenly making bodily autonomy to refuse vaccines "far-right" meanwhile the left are supposed to be pro-choice. Banning protests. Infecting all of our institutions with DEI and neo-Marxist crap and if anyone disagrees they get fired. Destruction of our scientific and scholarly communities as a result. Increasing climate taxes to make people more poor while lecturing them about their polluting behaviours. All while spending and laundering money of tax payers so that the next three generations will not be able to pay for it.

Fuck these people, honestly. If Canada had an election tomorrow, our government would be a conservative supermajority. That's why Trudeau has prorogued Parliament and is blocking an election. These people deserve guillotines for the harms they have done.

The writing is on the wall. We are in a culture war against the radical left. They are trying to capture us and hand us over to globalists while making us poor in our own homes.
