We have unisex bathrooms halls with stalls for anyone in Finland, amongst other gendered and unisex bathroom solutions. I don't recall any report of any issues in those kind of configurations, nor have I witnessed that myself, nor has anyone mentioned to me witnessing, experiencing or causing any issues.

To me this whole "issue" seems to be mostly catastrophization and the little real issue that might exist could be somewhat effectively prevented with smart bathroom infrastructure.
 
the thing with unisex bathrooms is that now everyone has to wait in line when females take forever to vacate them.
if you need to really, really to go there is no "just let's use the men's room" option anymore.

The only people who talk about autogynephilia are terminally online right-wingers and self-hating trans people from red states with a mountain of internalized transphobia.
No psychiatrist or medical professional I know of seems to posit that this exists is a common phenomenon amongst trans people.

And I think that the all-gendered bathrooms this bill bans are a pretty good solution that seems to work quite well where I live and in @Pissed_and_messed’s homeland of Finland.

i followed an online conversation between a curious user and a guy who explained that he uses first person perspective with his female main character in his erotic stories because he gets aroused by the idea of being that female, rather than being one of her male playmates.
i don't remember the word autogynephilia being mentioned, but i guess that's what it is?

While I think I've never heard the word itself outside of right-wing slander, I have run across a couple of guys with a feminization or sissyfication fetish. I expect that both would fall under the umbrella. But those guys also did not believe they were "women trapped in a man's body" and had no intent to transition or live as women full time. It was just a fetish for the bedroom and the occasional club night or sex party. Outside those contexts, they were as boyish or manly as any other guy I dated.

Thank you for the perspective here, this was really interesting to hear /genuine
And yeah, it’s almost like the obscure fetishes of a handful of cis men out of the billions of men in the world have nothing to do with the millions of trans women who just want to use an unlabelled single-occupancy restroom in peace without being sexually/physically assaulted, threatened, or killed.
 
most women in high politics dress like dudes.
pant suits and such. i guess they think if they don't, nobody will take them seriously.
even if they don't wear pant suit, they still are not really female looking

it's the combo of short hair and pant suits.
only thing that distinguishes them from men is the colors and maybe a piece of jewelry and and some lipstick every now and then.
i wonder if feminists would even support a woman who accentuates femininity instead of trying to disguise as men.
