Interesting. He's really sticking his finger in people's eyes with this one. Not just Dems but a lot of Republican leaders, too. Gaetz is apparently very disliked, has been under bipartisan investigation in the House. He's also incredibly unqualified for the job. Is it a test to see if he can force the GOP Senate to approve Gaetz and completely bow to him?

Since Tx Lt Gov Dan Patrick (R) said grandparents would be willing to die to save the economy for their grandchildren during Covid. I imagine that throwing grandma under the bus by cutting SS and Medicare to enable tax cuts for the 1% will happen rather quickly.

Not sure if Trump can re-institute the doughnut hole for seniors with an executive order. Since it will be a trifecta, that's irrelevant.

Jasperkent put up the current economic numbers. Here in a month or two Trump will take credit for them and say, "The threat of tariffs improved the economy and made them unnecessary.". You heard it here first.

8/10 is pretty damn good. With full republican control of Congress and this all star team in the White House, there should be no impediments to pretty dramatic growth right?

I raised it from 7.5 because of Kudlow. Got a lot to tear down first. It's good he learned from his first term and is appointing people that are loyal instead of John Bolton types. We'll see how it goes with confirmations. There will definitely be impediments and hopefully Thune is actually loyal but I'm doubtful about him
