Depends on where in the world you're talking about. Much of the US has grown up drinking water contaminated by fracking and microplastics, breathing in air contaminated by burning trash due to wild fires, eating meat riddled with hormones and antibiotics, breathing in dust that has been saturated with Androgen receptor agonists (which seem to be contributing to sex/gender variations as hormonal processes have been disrupted during gestation at an increasing rate during the post-industrial/deregulation era) and hopelessly addicted to drugs, alcohol, gambling, and social media. We also have a strong dichotomy where education levels influence and correlate with a person's potential protection from some of these neurotoxic factors, which leads to difficulty communicating to the majority of the population as comprehension and critical thinking is incredibly stratified.I'm fairly certain that if ~45-50% of the u.s. populace isn't dreading a second trump term that "the whole fucking world" isn't dreading a second trump term.
I guess the warhawks probably aren't too fond of the idea though.
Add in media that has infantalized American adults by selling us toilet paper with Cartoon Teddy Bears, and devolving the nuance of good vs. evil into comic book multiverses... there's an increasing oversimplification of complex issues and a lack of interest in certain swaths of the population to care about such nuances. They vote based on feel and vibes - preferring 'my team' over 'the other team' as we've turned elections into Red Sox/Yankees style competitions, with the 'Super Bowl' coming in a few days on 11/5 (i realize I'm mixing metaphors here, but the point carries through).
