Talking points indeed do exist. Talking about the border would be one. Talking points are not necessarily untrue nor something that wouldn't make one think.
There will be efforts to counter a good talking point. JD Vance had a weird one (;)). The more efforts to counter, the more the point hit a nerve, generally. I'm sure seeing efforts to counter this one here.
And, the point of the post you were responding to is that no one is trying to hide it. It just fits too well.

We can go back to talking about trans women in sports now... in relation to the US Presidential election...

Nope !

Nothing wrong with the word weird.

But ask yourself what are the odds of so many media outlets choosing to use the same exact "weird" phrase out of the blue without them reading it off the "new speak point list"

Please continue because America is too stupid to see that, right ?

Seeing as to how some are too stupid to see "trans women in sports" as a talking point... maybe.

Guy, I don't think anyone is trying to fool anyone here. It's meant to be lighthearted and fun, but true. Harris is going after the youth vote as evidenced by the "brat" meme(?). This is similar.

If the Harris campaign keeps it's current course they are handing this election to Trump.

Remember I'm a Registered Democrat not a Trump supporter saying this. If Democrats have to march in lock step in order to fit in, the party has ceased being "democratic"

I live in Chicago. Solid Blue city since the 1940's.
A lot of people I talk to are talking voting for Trump. I'm talking a LOT.
I've never heard heard people talking voting Republican in Chicago. Ever !

Guy, that's a talking point. and it's all over the media. Do a Google search on it. And, I'm sorry man, but it's a weird one. Substitute whatever word you want for weird, but it is. It's also divisive, shitty and incorrect. And not talking about issues. Hopefully, people won't get too riled up by it and see the weird.

The polls show it neck and neck. The polls are wrong a lot.
IMO, the biggest reason the polls are so far off now is that they still rely on cold calls. A lot of people will not answer a number they don't recognize.
Younger people are the ones least likely to not answer numbers they don't recognize. Harris is going for the youth vote, for one.
The youth vote has carried elections, but they are the least dependable demographic.

The Dems do a lot strategically I disagree with. Ideologically as well. There's that lesser of evils and Overton Window stuff there.

Point, on that second thing. I'll pay more attention about Harris doing that.

Trust me when I say I'm not trying to convince you of anything. Just remember this when the election is done because months ago I said Biden was going down hill rapidly and got universally dismissed by all the real Democrats in this sub forum. I don't need your affirmation to know what I hear on the street, ;)

I was responding to one thing and pointing out talking points. I'll pay better attention to whether Harris talks to issues enough in the future.
As I said, the Dems do a lot strategically I don't agree with and I am curious as to how it plays. I will respond to incorrect points anywhere I see them, as you would as well.

Um, she claimed to be Indian then Black. They are concerned about the way she changes her race, like most people change their underwear.
Will she claim to be Native American next? Not entirely impossible.
 
Someone who is Indian and black can talk about being black one day and Indian the next, nobody changed anything

Black people can also be racist
