when she says she has "secured enough delegates to clinch the nomination" she means that she has secured the endorsement of enough delegates (i.e .more than 1976) to win the nomination in the first round of voting.

but it's meaningless until the vote of the party delegates is official. that will happen after the virtual roll call vote ahead of the dnc.

so, simply put, she's not the nominee yet. but she almost certainly will be.

Just going to throw this wild prediction in here. Trump is going to win; I think there's going to be some wild shit going down with Trump and Russia, and particularly to do with Trump's (and Russia's) connection to Nikola Tesla, in the next few years. Trump's uncle was the man in charge of examining Nikola Tesla's [stolen] possessions upon his death. Russia was given parts of the plan for the 'death ray'.

I don't know how, maybe we'll see a demonstration of a weapon even more powerful than an atomic bomb, or Tesla's 'death ray' used to neutralize ICBM's or something in Ukraine.

It just sort of occurred to me the other day. There has been this long and ongoing cultural expression in films etc, e.g. The Hunt for Red October, that Russia has advanced electrical warfare capability. Always involving plasmas or some exotic electrical capability. It never really occurred to me before that this might be some form of predictive programming. In recent years there's been a lot of talk about lasers, particularly from the Anglo-American establishment. May be we're about to see something completely off the wall?

There is nothing in the Constitution about picking a candidate. Nothing about political parties at all.
