Don't know.
The developer said he has a way to test them, but either it's not reliable, or he doesn't always test. He is a good worker most of the time, but gets sloppy every now and then.
I don't want to have five bug reports per version about that kind of avoidable shit. That's why it would be cool if I could test the things myself.

I have no idea, because I'm not a developer.
We use composer for PHP and yarn for javascript dependencies, that's something I will have to learn because the client doesn't want the developers to do the library management (has to do with legal things). But most of that is managed by the client's own people.

and i know it's not obvious from my previous posts, but i test on a local system. which means i would still have to connect from that mac to my local server to run the tests just to see if a bootstrap modal works on safari or if it doesn't.

we'll try with the virtualbox whatever on the bootstrap guy's windows machine (he offered to do it, so good luck to him)

At work we need to run some tests using a Safari browser, and it turns out it's only available for MacOs.
But maybe one of you guys who are so clever with using the internet for all kinds of stuff know a solution (ideally for linux, but windows would do, too)

MacOS simulator for Windows there's none, of this. Ever

Throw in a spare SSD (or partition your current one) and Hackintosh your machine if it has the right specs.

Otherwise, use VirtualBox or another VM. (@Shady's Fox Virtual machines are "MacOS simulators for Windows")
