"Wi-Peep" tech allows Wi-Fi-enabled devices to be spotted through walls

If someone were planning on burglarizing a building, it would help if they knew in advance where valuable gadgets such as smart TVs and laptops were located. A new study suggests that a drone equipped with a cheap "Wi-Peep" device could allow them to do so, by seeing through the building's walls.
Turn off the damn wifi. It's a health hazard and now a way for criminals to case your house. When will people learn wifi was made for our destruction?
Health effects:

They already know if you have expensive shit before they even come to your house.

Wi-Fi is not hazardous to your health. Just like millimeter wave can't penetrate your skin deeper than a credit card depth.

Now I know you troll crazy ass websites.

There isn't a graphene-based computer because they don't even have graphene semiconductors under production.

This is the same site that says 5G is powering self-assembling nano robots inside of Pfizer's COVID vaccine.

Delusional get some help.

This thread should probably be in the dive
It is not a conspiracy theory but a fact of the devices of technology. I could offer other links as well but I don't believe it would change your mind. I will say you can turn off the wireless and cover the electronics with a conductive mesh or fabric. This will block the drone or UAV from seeing what is covered.

These are all technologies to detect objects and WiFi emitting devices and ways to block this violation of our privacy.

This is nothing new. Maybe putting it on a drone is new, but... Look, if you're connected to wi-fi, you are broadcasting... RF energy... from a radio. People (and governments) have been making kit to localize broadcast radio since forever. And it does nothing but get smaller and better. So if you're worried about tracking (and not necessarily eavesdropping) just having your wi-fi turned on means you can be tracked. It doesn't matter if your wi-fi adapter is "polite" or not. It's broadcasting to the access point as part of the network. So its location can be tracked.

On the other hand, home-brew miniaturizing DF kit and putting it on a consumer drone is actually pretty neat. You could triangulate with just the one receiver by flying quickly across the area being scanned, and even include the signal bearing and strength during the transit. The US navy has thousands of people how to do exactly that. They do it with SONAR. But most of the math is just as relevant with RF as it is with sound. So the hacking groups should probably be trying to recruit ex-submariners who were qualified to do a target motion analysis and took up an interest in software when they got out.
