After Poland was admitted to NATO, the U.S. established military installations there. Also the U.S. placed nuclear tipped missiles in Poland, which are aimed at Moscow. Russia is not going to allow that to happen in Ukraine.

When Russia brought nuclear missiles to Cuba, the U.S. didn't like it. Kennedy demanded that they be removed. He agreed to remove American nuclear missiles from Turkey.

I can understand Russia's point of view. The U.S. was running military training camps in Ukraine. (These camps were especially popular with neo-NAZIs.) A past Ukrainian president, prior to 2014, was talking about kicking the Russian Navy out of Sebastopol. (That, I believe, is what started this mess.) Britain had war ships in Odesa harbor doing military exercises with the Ukrainian navy.

If I were running Russia, there's no way I would give up Russia's only warm water port in Sebastopol. I totally understand Russia taking Crimea. That's what I would have done. The people there didn't seem to mind much either.

The U.S. wanted to extend the NATO military infrastructure into Ukraine. They invited Ukraine into a special partnership and started supplying weapons and training. That was the same as spitting in Russia's face. There were European leaders and academic experts in the U.S. who warned that the U.S. was provoking a backlash. Well, the backlash done came along.

When the Baltics and Poland were integrated into NATO, Russia was very weak and just had to suck it up. Russia has recovered since 1991, when the Soviet Union fell apart. Now Russia will not just suck it up. This is not coming only from Putin. Russia has a long history of being brutalized by armies coming at it from the West. Not just German armies either. So, when the U.S. and Britain started infiltrating Ukraine, Russia said, "Back the fuck off!" I think they had a valid point.

Well, America ain't taking ultimatums from anyone. So look what happened. America said "Freedom is worth any price." Well, dead people can't be free. A half million Ukranian soldiers are in graves. Millions fled the country and will probably never return. The eastern provinces are annexed. Boris Johnson and Joe Biden have make a fool out of Zelensky.

Russia will not give up what it has taken in eastern and southern Ukraine. If western armies try to invade Ukraine, Russia absolutely will fire nuclear weapons at them. Putin has stated that it is the only way Russia can compete with NATO. BTW, Putin's father and grandmother were killed by Germans.

I think Putin is a corrupt man in a corrupt government. But he's not a fool, and he's not totally unreasonable. Roosevelt and Churchill made huge concessions to Stalin, who was a truly evil, brutal man. Biden is going to have to make an accommodation with Russia, as his betters have done in the past.

Putin wanted space between Russia and NATO, just like JFK had a shit fit( very justifiably so) when the USSR began installing nuclear missles 90 miles off the coast of Florida in Cuba. It also seems ridiculous that NATO would put nuclear weapons in Turkey; NATO seems hell bent on kicking a sleeping bear ( pun intended).
The whole Ukraine mess could have been avoided, most likely, if NATO would have given Russia some space, just like Khrushchev, should have never tried installing nuclear tipped ballistic missles in Cuba.
Putin may cause trouble occasionally in some former Soviet states, but he didn't really seem like a threat to the West. The reason I say Putin and not Russia is because he is a de facto dictator.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but if NATO had shown Putin some respect and given him some room, this could have been avoided.

I think there maybe an element of truth to what you posted, but I truly believe this really has to do with establishing a World government and Russia and China are not going to be anyone's bitch, and neither is North Korea. These idiots are seemingly hell bent on starting a Nuclear war. Also remember that China has made the claim that it can mobilize an army of 200,000,000 men. I believe they could.

He is not a young man and he is not exactly a military genius either. He was a good spy and spy master apparently. Who the hell knows what goes on in Russia. He could at some point fear for his job and his life( this is Russia we are talking about, not some western democracy, things are, very, very different) It is like a wounded dangerous animal, they will be especially ferocious and Putin strikes me as the type who will go down swinging. Yes, there are plenty of people in the U.S. who like what's going on in Ukraine. (That's why it's happening.)

Why is Russia a geopolitical adversary to the U.S.? Maybe you remember the 2 Chechen brothers who exploded a bomb at the Boston Marathon, killing or injuring hundreds of people. The Eastern European countries have been fairly active with talk of conscription, Latvia has just reintroduced it. Basically a couple weeks back there was a coordinated media discussion it seems right across EU countries (and UK) about conscription. I can't speak for them, only the UK; here the media basically floated the idea, to gauge public perception, and naturally most people were like "errr.. get fucked you nobs".

I know just before Christmas America recalled personnel for the specific task of recruiting, at very short notice. Which is suspicious.

Who knows man. Honestly, it would not surprise me if they try to instigate a wider conflict and try to sacrifice lots of young people. All the migrants pouring into the USA, UK, and EU.. the whole thing stinks, like we're being rapidly setup for some sort of disaster. Whether it's connected to Ukraine or not, I don't know. We have the pandemic treaty thing being implemented this Summer too, which will place power in the hands of the WHO in the event of another pandemic.

There is a British undertaker who claims he was contacted by a intelligence coms officer, who stated that many of these migrants have actually been trained by British forces in Ukraine and Turkey. That they are going to be utilized when they declare another pandemic, to act on behalf of the military against the public. Whether that is true or not, who knows. But the migrant thing is absolutely bizarre.. all young men.. and none of countries are doing a damn to stop it when they could end it tomorrow if they so chose.

I'm trying not to think about it too much. The world changed in a matter of weeks in 2020, and it could easily happen again. Lots of people are freaking out at the moment, prepping and such. But personally, I'm about out of fucks to give at this point.. something is going to break, and soon. I made my peace a long time ago.
