Excess deaths are still running high. Not just in the UK but everywhere else too.

Veena Raleigh, a senior fellow at the health think tank the King’s Fund, told The BMJ that there had been large numbers of deaths related to flu and covid-19 in December 2022 and January this year, which was influencing the figures.5 “The 2023 figures to date do not compare well with 2019. Mortality to date is about 5.5% higher than it was for the same period in 2019,” she said.

With 2023 to date, we haven’t had the bounce back that we might have expected once the worst of the pandemic was over. In the first three quarters of 2023 the mortality rate was higher than in many years in the pre-pandemic decade. If we have a good coming winter things could get back to 2019 levels relatively quickly, but it’s unpredictable.

Pharmacovigilance is also referred to as 'Stage V trials' i.e. even when a new medicine receives an ML, the maker has to continue to monitor their new medicine and to to monitor an equivalent group that didn't/don't receive the new medicine.

So someone using Pharmacovigilance as if it's a scary word evidently doesn't even know that ALL new medicines under exactly the same monitoring. I think the most famous example was the introduction of the COX2 inhibitors. Selective NSAIDs that didn't cause the stomach issues of traditional, non-selective inhibitors. It took several years but it was possible to show that the use of some of the COX2 inhibitors were associated with in increased likelihood of a 'cardiac events' compared to the trial group and around half the COX2 inhibitors were voluntary removed from the market by their makers. And not causal link was ever shown - but with a large enough sample site, a statistical increase suggesting a correlation was considered sufficient reason. That is a VERY conservative way to proceed considering that the development costs would never have been covered.

But that's an example of pharmacovigilance detecting a problem - in an overwhelming percentage of cases, no such issues were noted - but 'new drug found to be safe; doesn't make for a news story, I think you will agree. I think it's MORE reassuring that even when a new drug receives an ML, it's still continually being assessed for the entire time it's on the market. In the UK the BNF even contains 'yellow cards' so every GP can, at no cost, report a negative outcome. Most are idiopathic BUT if a lot of yellow cards describe the same outcome with the same medicine, it's yet another way to ensure unsafe medicines are rooted out. A LOT of effort goes into this.

But suggesting it ONLY applied to the COVID vaccine is plainly untrue. It's how the drug-discovery pipeline has worked for decades. EVERY medicine is subject to pharmacovigilance. 55 new medicines were approved in 2023, 37 in 2022, 50 in 2020 and so on and they will ALL undergo continuous pharmacovigilance.

I'm not saying the system is perfect - but it's not as if a vaccines receives more or less scrutiny by pharmacoepidemiologists.

I am old enough to have seen the destruction polio brought - the crippled survivors. My parents have lived in the age before and after the introduction of antibiotics and one of my grandmothers worked in an isolation hospital an so really got to see how many terrible diseases have disappeared because of inoculation, antibacterial and antiviral medicines.

It's like an entire century of medical progress is conveniently forgotten. My great aunt worked in an isolation hospital. Palliative care before the term 'palliative' was really used much. But hundreds and possibly thousands of people who died from diseases medicine has overcome so completely, most people aren't even aware of the death-toll surrounding such diseases... but every town having at LEAST one isolation hospital should be a clue.

You have stumbled too far into self reinforcing paranoia. Given this thread is not about chemtrails, all I will say is this; chemtrails are misdirection and obfuscation to hide how they are actually implementing global weather pattern modification. Cloud seeding is for local weather modification, and really only useful for creating clouds. That's all. Actually manipulating weather patterns involves the use of microwave band energy, creating regions of interference that can cause cloud formation and direct wind flow patterns.
