What do you all think of Vivek Ramsey?

He seems pretty smart and has good charisma. I wonder if he could help unite our country. Idk enough about him yet. I usually don’t start diving deeply until the year of the election. A lot changes so this way I have a better idea.

Anyway, he does have one stroke against him so far but I kinda like the dude for what I’ve seen so far…still researching tho. He owns a pharmaceutical company…and I hate that industry, but surely some if not alot of them are actually trying to help people? They can’t all be bad.

I just think he’s not white and that seems to really matter for some reason hmmm…

Like why the hell would she ask him why doesn’t he just pull out of the race completely because he took his name off the ballot in Colorado and Maine because of he doesn’t support what they did. Thinks it’s a way for election interference.

And she says, well why stop there? Why not just take your name off all the ballots?

Is she that stupid?
 
he is dangerous and should never be allowed in any government position of power.

He’s like a Joe Rogan running for office, knows all the right buttons to push to win over the Rogan watching “free thinkers” despite advocating for complete authoritarianism and eradicating personal freedom.

He’s an idiot’s intellectual. Speaks fast, lies.
 
So I have mixed feelings about a lot of these guys and haven’t decided how I feel about him yet.

How is he eradicating personal freedom and support of complete authoritarianism?

He seems to be all about the constitution and restoring the principles outlined by our “founding fathers” as they say.

I can respect that. I’m just tired of the Biden and Trump shit so exploring other presidential options. Just researching really.

I honestly don’t like any of them but who has the morals and guts that I’m looking for and the intelligence to get it done.

He sounds good, but will he stick to his guns and really be honest like he says he will? If so that’s a big deal to me.

I think that desantis is too divisive and a little too much for me to be honest. Now he seems like he’d be very authoritarian.

Kennedy is a little too much on the environmental crap for me it was. I dismissed him a long time ago. I mean I’m all for taking care of the environment but I’m not on board with forcing me to have to drive an electric car and wanting our military to be all electric like u e heard proposed by some of those on his side and what the hell are you going to do out in the middle of the desert if you aren’t using gas in the middle of a war.

Biden - yuck
Trump - no thanks

So I mean, really what are my options ya know?

I like your fair and honest opinion. Yeah I don’t think any of them are great options. It almost always comes down to who is the lesser evil for me.
 
I really like that we are all able to have different and some similiar views and just discuss our opinions without the offensiveness I’ve seen in other political posts. Thanks for that you all.

I almost hesitated in posting this because I get nervous about that happening.

Yeah I have been wary about him because he is in pharmaceuticals…and i have mixed feelings about the pharmaceutical industry. Clearly it’s very corrupt, but every single company being corrupt can’t be right either.

And because like Stelara that I take for my autoimmune condition…if it weren’t for them I would likely be crippled.

But the shit is 30k a shot!!!

Obviously the insurance pays for it and some kind of grants covering the rest. Idk how they get someone besides insurance to

My opinion of this dude is significantly influenced by his seeming appeal to Trump and the cult of personality around him. Trump is not a good human, I wouldn't tell my nephew to look at his character and suggest that he try to be like that and I sincerely find it appealing that people will openly admit that he is not a good person, yet still vote for him. We should vote for people we respect.

Vivek seems to be good at reading the mojo in whatever Trump does, and is trying to channel/capitalize on it. He seems to be a bit of a charlatan. I think we need better choices. I don't dislike Biden, he's generally fine, and he seems like a relatively decent human, but he's way too disconnected from the struggles you and I both face in our day to day lives (due to age and privilege). Trump and Vivek are also disconnected from this but just seem to lie about that in more machiavellian ways.

I will say I just pulled him up because he did make it sound like he was poor going up but maybe that’s just how I took it.

His parents were engineers and doctors I just found out. Yeah they were immigrants but hardly broke…possibly I guess…

Interesting side note- his wiki says he used to be a rapper in college lol. Did Eminem covers.

But like I said that’s just from this interview that I heard him say his parents came over here poor, but that’s all he says. He didn’t say he grew up poor, but kinda makes me feel like that when I hear that.

We do need better choices. But like who?? That is the issue. You have to be rich I. America to run for president and rich people like you said don’t really connect with the common man unless they have been poor before. And who was the last president who wasn’t wealthy all their life?

i didn’t think his parents were illegal imigrants. I had thought they came over legally and that he wanted to abolish illegal immigrant birth citizenship.

I never said they were illegal immigrants

Vivek is trying to undue birthright citizenship, babies born here. Which is the only reason he is a US citizen himself.

He's a sell out, willing to betray the very thing that made him American.
 
Vivek is like a cute little version of Ben Shapiro. He's quick with words and can sound intelligent, but isn't. He's a huge suck up and obvious state puppet.

I'd much rather have Ben Shapiro as president tbh, even though he's a douchebag, I think he would represent the country better.

I'd rather have the illusion that my president isn't a sock puppet, with Vivek it's way too obvious. Dude looks like he has balls the size of 2 overripe grapes. Probably drops his tighty wighties for a $200 campaign donation.
