Like it's a fucking football game

Western mind rot is what this is about
Cheerleading from our big ass couch.

Is there any consensus yet on the ratio of dead Palestinians to Hamas militants? Everyone here is saying it's unavoidable right, so, 10/1, sounds great. As long as they get all the Hamas bases & tunnels. Man I loved that strike on the Jabalya refugee camp, I think they got one! They should strike some more of the hospitals, Hamas bases under every one. I just know it. Let's check back next week eh, exciting war season, lots of revenge to be dished out.

Hamas uses civilians as shields.

.......................

You know the IDF warns people to leave right?

How do you justify terrorists that use children as human shields?

To expand on that, Hamas actively blocks civilians from leaving both Gaza and the areas that are going to be bombed.
They block them as in armed road blocks and patrols, forcing them to choose between being human shields and being gunned down.

Hamas in Palestine is like ISIS in Iran Syria/Iraq, they rule because they have the only armed forces there and what they say goes or else.

Easy for you to drop in every week or so and make a sarcastic remark. It's not even an attempt to present a point of view, thus shielding yourself from criticism. I am not cheerleading, I am expressing my opinions on a complex moral issue. You are free to do that as well. Or if you are not interested and just want to make cute comments, maybe try writing a blog or going to an open mic ?

So there have been multiple investigations finding no evidence that Hamas actually uses human shields

But guess who did, you might be shocked! 🤔

Constructing your headquarters under hospitals and not allowing citizens to flee to safe zones is industrial level "human shield" usage.

I don't think anyone was implying they were literally walking around while holding people in front of them like a hostage situation.

Again there is no actual evidence that Hamas has tunnels under hospitals. People are circulating images of a hole in the ground which the construction company who made the hospital and blueprints show that the hole is access for a water tank

That article makes no such conclusion about tunnels under hospitals in this current fight, and is referencing investigations from 2008 and 2014.

"Investigations of the most recent round of fighting are still ongoing. But detailed investigations following the 2008-2009 and 2014 conflicts by Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, the United Nations Human Rights Council, and others have failed to find a single documented case of any civilian deaths caused by Hamas using human shields."

My hospital photo references weren't about that article. I've seen others post "evidence" of Hamas having tunnels under hospitals consisting of photos of a hole in the ground here in this thread. I haven't seen any other evidence but this is what Israel's claims are based on. I call BS

@someguyontheinternet

Hamas launches 20,000 rockets specifically intending to cause mass civilian casualties with no greater military objective - ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Hamas gonna do what Hamas gonna do

Israel launches 100 rockets trying to kill Hamas leaders and kills some civilians - HOLY SHIT FUCKING WAR CRIME GENOCIDE, THIS IS HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSE

Why does the world look at one as unacceptable, but the other is just something Israel has to deal with?

The only difference is Hamas isn't very good at making rockets. If they were, nobody would be questioning Israel one bit.

It's a huge hypocrisy in my eyes. Nobody is mentioning Hamas committing war crimes, only Israel.

Attempted mass murder is somehow excusable I guess?

I'm not arguing the point that Hamas is doing bad shit, everyone already knows they are. I'm arguing that Israel is fabricating excuses to do horrible shit knowingly while getting backing from my tax dollars

The US is funding a violent apartheid state

Israel isn't known for raping women and using kids as shields. That's not defensible by any means. My late husband saw first hand what these groups do to children and it drove him to kill himself. How many Hamas Hezbollah ISIS soldiers(i use that term loosely) shot themselves over western war crimes? Strapping a vest to bomb innocent people don't count

We also send funding to the violent terrorist/heroin state of Afghanistan, and the corrupt rebel/child warrior states in Africa. We send funding to literally almost every country on earth.

We sent 14b to Israel (population 10 million)
We sent 7b to Palestine (population 5 million)

seems proportionally equal to me, almost like we're trying to help everyone, not only a "violent apartheid state"

maybe we shouldn't send funds to Palestine which is a "hate filled murderous terrorist state"

I don't think Palestine would be in the place it is today without the actions of Israel between the Nakba and today, their desire to create an exclusionary society on land that was already occupied is what led to this
