Thank you for your reply. It's good to know that abilities that have disappeared will come back. That's a salutary thought. May I ask what you lost from Xeplion, did you recover and how long did the recovery take?Hi! Welcome! I’m happy you found this place and can connect with others and I’m glad the fear subsided for you. I too felt like things were permanent. So I can totally relate. I don’t really know for sure how dangerous 4 injections would be of Xeplion . For some, as little as 2 injections can cause some long lasting effects, unfortunately, based from what others have said but it really depends for each person. The lifestyle habits I adopted during recovery are to have a good sleep schedule, eat healthy, meditate, stay hydrated, and exercise every day as well as journal. I also like to occasionally make videos of myself to track my progress as well. The Exercise I do is: walking, running , swimming, lifting weights, squats , planks , push ups. I also do yoga and tai chi. I believe you will get your intelligence and creativity back as well as your talent for writing novels. Good luck on your recovery!
Thank you very much for your reply. I stopped receiving Xeplion 3 months ago, but I still take some medications: Xanax 0.25 mg, Zoloft 50 mg and AP: Quetiapine 200 mg, Aripiprazole 10 mg. Do you think taking those 2 APs can prevent me from recovering from Xeplion? I am glad to hear that you have recovered. What did you lose and how long did it take to recover? You can take APs during the time you're recovering if you need them, just don't get an injection. AP pills don't have the lasting effects of invega sustenna once you stop them. I took AP pills for a short time when I had psychosis again, but they did not affect or lengthen my recovery by a noticeable amount once I ceased taking them. Plan for what will happen if you have a psychotic relapse to ensure that you are not injected again.
4 injections are very few. Diet and exercise can help you, but the truth is that while finding a "lifestyle" to help recover can help give you a positive mindset and help you feel in control, nothing will actually cause recovery but time off the drug. Expect to start to feel "yourself" again around 9 months, and all of your intelligence, creativity and talent to be back within 2 years.
I'm glad you found hope here, this forum also guided and gave me hope at the time when I was recovering and felt hopeless as you did
NoDoes anyone know what happened to merek
Me tooIm hoping hes just locked up in a psych ward. But sadly i fear the worst
Please stop asking the same question over and over. Have some patience, people will see your posts and will reply if they have anything to say, Posting the same question over and over again just clogs up the thread and disrupts the flow of the discussion. Thank you.Does anyone feel dopamine when doing fun things
Recovery is Individualität. I read about ppl that recovered in a few months some in years. Others may have lifetime issues as i found a Report about a woman that got haldol injections. She said she just had a mild Depression and they gave it to her. She was put on meds for 6 years and stopped them . But she never recovered could never have a relationship or a job. I feel very tired but need meds cause of my death fears which invega has created in me. I am disabled and havent recovered in 8 years.

I think that's great for four months! You still have a long way to go. Be patient and hang in there BojanaHow is everyones rocovery going? What are your improvements so far? I am today for months off, i can cry, my pain in hands is gone, got my perio, had two windows, one an hour and the second one for 15 minuts. But anhedonia is still hitting hard, and loss of emotions, as well as my strength i am still weak.. But so far this is abot it..

I think it depends on the person. Some people in this forum report that they feel just fine and can recover on other APs as long as it isn't invega. Others , myself included, believe that if you remain on APs you may continue to feel anhedonia from them among other side effects because they block the same parts of the brain. Sweetheart above is an example, she is on long term zopiclone (sode effect anxiety) and and an extremely high dose of seroquel (side effect anhedonia, TD, weight gain). She doesn't feel recovered from the invega she took 8 years ago, but whether that's due to her current meds or the invega is a matter of opinion. Myself for example take no medication, quit invega 4 years ago, and am 100% recovered. I think it mostly depends on what you are "used to" and how much you feel you need the medication in your lifeThank you very much for your reply. I recovered 25% in almost 9 months and reached a plateau (abilify). You can recover a certain % from invega or injections in general while taking antipsychotics. But its limited and reach a plateau. In my opinion one thing that doesn't improve while taking AP is anhedonia which is just as bad now as month 1.Thank you for your reply. I've seen enough people off meds who suffer for many years, but to be sure you have to stop all antipsychotics if you take a fuckoff dose of seroquel chances are small you recover. If you take poison it doesnt make sense to add more poison.Recovery is Individualität. I read about ppl that recovered in a few months some in years.
