Police Brutality Thread

Cops don’t make the laws or hold any real power. They are the conduit for the establishment to put their jack boot against ur neck. The establishment had the irs raid Matt Tahibbi since he dared to show their corruption

You're right cops hold no power. They are just the first line of defense and could easily be overtaken.

I mean yeah the cops have all the power they want individually they can pretty much decide on the spot whether to fuck you or not, they'll pull you over for the fuck of it. They can even kill indiscriminately without repercussions.

I'm not sure there are any other professions with such bold and decisive authority to change a person's life in the spot.

They might be thralls but they do wield immense power.

Who would have thought making a billionaire president would turn out badly for the rest of us. His entire life has been about gaming the system for himself.

Remember when people said he wouldn't take bribes because he's already rich?

LOL

^ i get that comment. totally.

i know he was murdered because the country coroner who carried out the autopsy said he was murdered. and the cop who sat on his neck was convicted of his murder.

the doctor who carried out the autopsy knows a little better what went down than some sofa warrior on bl. fact!

alasdair

I don't need a doctor to tell me not to stick a knife in my leg cuz somethings are obvious. Cop kneeling on man's neck, man dies.....

Fentanyl at 11ng/mL translates to 0.066mg for someone with 6L blood, mere traces

but too lazy to look it up.
which is a shame.

cause i'm having trouble finding 19 deaths directly attributed to george floyd protests (or riots)... do you think you could throw me a bone and name five people that died as a direct result of protest or riot activity during floyd protests?

The numbers were likely higher. A quick search gave me this. I’ll look a little deeper

The number of deaths would have been lower had police opted to do their sworn duty, Protect and Serve. The opted to retreat tho
Police value their own safety over everything, including the lives of children. This is how they are trained.

I don't understand why society sucks their dick so much and calls them heroes. Half of them are assholes on a power trip, racist, or corrupt. Yes, there are some good cops out there but certainly not all of them.

I've always wondered why when a cop dies they get a whole funeral procession, a parade, 10 news stories, a plaque downtown, and a whole fucking highway named after them.... but when a soldier dies you don't even get their name, just some empty statistic if they're lucky enough to get a news story.

I've never seen firemen get highways named after them.... or doctors, or any other profession that helps society.

Why do cops get such special treatment?

I think this will dissipate over time, but the answer is bc they are societies ultimate zog bots.

Somebody's gotta clean up the scum in society

That's what they mostly deal with

Takes a toll on ya
Yeah I appreciate that, they help people deal with the ugliest parts of society. It's not an easy job by any means.

But I think this innate reverence allows the bad cops to hide behind the good cops, and also gives them this sort of moral immunity (and literal legal immunity).

This is a good documentary behind that idea (also very entertaining)
