Now that the dust has settled, do any of you have regrets for believing the conspiracies about Russia collusion?

>bbc rueters Newsweek center

Do you genuinely see this as legit? The post and national review is neo con center right.
Umm, it does have the NY Post as center right. Are you looking at NY Post Opinion?
That's similar to people taking CNN's (for instance) tables of people talking about the news as news. That's the equivalent of the opinion page in a newspaper.

National Review center-right? Well, they're not wacko like the Daily Caller or Breitbart, but William F. Buckley's rag has always been pretty far right.
That's similar to ranking Vox with HuffPost. Vox is slanted, but you get more in depth stuff to research elsewhere. They have great science, etc., videos as well.
HuffPost is, well, the HuffPost.
They need a far left and a far right slot.

In what they are calling center, I wouldn't call The Hill and Reuters center, they both lean right. The Hill leans kinda hard
Newsweek tilts left. BBC is a good source.
Mainstream media might lean left as listed on some social issues, but it's corporate media all the way economically.

Still, it's not a bad list at all. It would be hard to make a perfect one.

I’m here to tell you that it’s all CIA propaganda, but especially the neo liberal rags, which is the vast majority. BBC has zero journalistic integrity, but I think since the TV says these things are good, many people fall into the trap of seeing them as good sources for information.

So, didja mean the NY Post?

The dude that you're arguing with is a troll, I wouldn't bother.

:) I'm a troll? Compared to Dropperneck? Thanks!

I haven't done it much in a few years, but I used to love trolling the trolls. Especially the ones who use the "firehose of disinformation" tactic. That way I know I've kept a Russian troll farm employee or two occupied here and there. Best done with minimal effort.

Я до сих пор не уверен насчет Дроппернека, но он может быть фермером-троллем.

It's funny that some people believed that any American who was talking shit about Killary online was working for some troll farm in the Kremlin LOL.

The copium was extreme for people who refused to accept that Trump legitimately won the election.

Many of these Russia conspiracy theorists I talk to online still believe Russia worked with drumpf to steal the 2016 election. Never underestimate the power of the CIA and the power of propaganda, as a whole.

Troll farms are a fact, scooter. Talkin' 'bout copium. Take another hit.

Dropperneck, You spout so much canned stuff with tenuous relation to previous posts that I'm beginning to think you are a Russian AI.

You're way behind son
Circa-2016 there was an extraordinary number of people online who were convinced that I was working out of the Kremlin. It was at paranoid schizophrenic-level but normal among liberals at the time.
Also anyone with half a brain can tell if someone online is not a native speaker.
And I knew that troll farms are fact because I've gotten into lengthy debates with people online that I'm certain were being paid to push leftist/establishment narratives. Very suspicious.
Clinton SuperPac Admits to Paying Internet Trolls

Why do you think they removed the 'dislike' counter on YouTube? It's because people can then see how much mainstream shit is disliked by the vast majority of people. They're attempting to manufacture consent when it isn't there. But the illusion of consent allows leftists to act insane in public.

if it's disliked, it's foreign interference. if it's liked, it's public engagement.

if it's astroturfing, it's democracy. if it's dissent, it's misinformation.

when everything is spin, does truth matter?

Truth does matter because it can often cut right through the intense web of deception and lies in this matrix. It has a power and resonance to it. Honest people are attracted to it.
But there are many people so hopelessly dependent on the system.....
Many are on this forum.

Glad you believe that, daddio. That's a start.
Since you said...
"It's funny that some people believed that any American who was talking shit about Killary online was working for some troll farm in the Kremlin LOL."
I guess I wanted to make sure of that first.

Now, let's examine what you said that in response to.
I said...
"Especially the ones who use the "firehose of disinformation" tactic. That way I know I've kept a Russian troll farm employee or two occupied here and there."

So, logic would dictate that I felt had come across a Russian troll or two in years of talking politics on Facebook. That's hardly a stretch.
So, making the statement...
"It's funny that some people believed that any American who was talking shit about Killary online was working for some troll farm in the Kremlin LOL."
Is obviously putting words in my mouth to get your talking point online.

Didn't think you were a Russian troll, scooter. However, using that tactic would be a data point added to the Russian troll column in your case.

Anyway, I'll take it back to saying that my only goal in this kind of crap online nowadays is to counteract the narrative that the whole Russian troll farm trying to interfere in our elections and divide us is fantasy. It is not.
Therefore, for that reason amongst others, if you support Russia you are a traitor to this country.

You can believe whatever gets you through the night as to who they supported or if Trump co-operated with them. Doesn't matter to me.
