Well said. There’s a difference between wanting to be accepted, and wanting the world to bend to your will. If you wanna dress up in drag on the weekends and hit up the glory holes, go for it idgaf. Exactly. Or removing a book or comic book from a school library or from a public library's circulation is not censorship, etc. Nothing is stopping a child, teen, or adult from going online to buy a copy of the book, ebook, comic book, etc. Or go to an actual bookstore and having an employee there order it.

I have never used a glory hole, but they were everywhere in the 1970s-early 2000s. I don't mean in dirty bookstores/porn stores, or sex saunas or in bars, but most men's toilets.

I guess they are still around? I have a gay friend who used them in the 1970s up until the late 1980s, and he figures that because he was extremely picky who he had anal sex with saving it for partners or men he knew well, and that he was mainly into sucking and getting sucked, but if the guy was effeminate/feminine, smelled like he had not showered, did not do enemas and shower before anal sex, into rimming, into fisting, the boring unimaginative type who only wants to get fucked, not European-he had sex with one native/Mestizo guy in Central America in 1971 and discovered he is only attracted to other European men-He is Scots and Swiss German, and even before AIDS disliked the 'so many men so little time, do anything sexual with any willing guy' type, never injected drugs or had sex with IV drug users, started using condoms for anal sex sometime in the early 1980s like by 1984 as he said it was extremely bad then in his area, that this is how he never got pozzed, or got hep A, B, C, D, ETC. when so many others did. He had safe sex with men who he later learned were POZ or living with AIDS as they died from AIDS, but he was not infected.

He never went on sex vacations, disliked the super cliquey LGB scene in both LA and SF, and how snobby people were in bars, or other places, etc.

He hated seeing queens, drag queens, or TV/CD types, and TS types at public sex places, bars, discos, etc. He loves us bisexual men, but he really loathes and dislikes lesbians as well as queens, drag queens, twinks, TV/CD/TS types, in that they can do whatever they want by choice, but he does not want to be around them socially or otherwise. This is not uncommon at all.

I am fine with drag queens, regular queens, and twinks as platonic friends, but I set boundaries and if they try to cross them or ignore them, or worse think that because I am talking to them or that we are friends that it means I want to date them or sleep with them, I cut them off completely.

As I wrote before I grew up around drag queens but I did not know that this is what they are into, sex was never mentioned, and I never saw them in character/costume, never heard them say dirty jokes or sing songs about sex, never went to their bars, to drag shows, etc.

Children and teens do not need to be exposed to drag queens, tranny hooker types, or books by tranny hookers, drag shows, taken to LGB/tranny pubs/bars/clubs or pride events, etc. They have the rest of their lives as adults to explore this by their choice, as adults.

Yet these same people want to change classic works to censor no no words and wrong think. Also removing ‘problematic’ classic works from curriculums.

I found it really weird, but not surprising that students at an Ivy League uni were super angry that in a poem by Ovid there is a mention of a "rape" and about the "rapes" in Ancient Greek and Roman myths. If someone is that bothered by reading an Ancient Roman poem or by Ancient Greek and Roman myths where fictional seduction or "rape" happens, they should never go to a university or college, never travel to Italy or Greece, or to anywhere the Ancient Greeks and Romans colonised.

Removing state propaganda from a school curriculum? I think the rights moves in this area are more justified than the lefts. They have been going after books that use no no words and promote wrong think, all the same. Thought I admit removing Cerebral books like “anti racist baby” may be problematic.

To indoctrinate these materials need to be curriculum. It’s why you see the establishment dropping every resource into this fight. It’s interesting how they never give examples of the books in state media, something to notice.
