I tried this thread a little while ago, but if I remember correctly, I was under the influence at the time and that resulted in my thread coming across the wrong way. Anyways...

I have always wondered what a Meth rush is like. Whether that's from smoking it or through IV use, I don't really care. I am just curios as to what it feels like. I have taken Desoxyn before (Pharmaceutical Methamphetamine) and while I didn't experience a rush from it, it was incredibly euphoric and ever since then, I have been very curios what a Meth rush would be like. I don't plan on EVER taking street meth due to the fact that it's incredibly toxic, however, I'd be willing to try smoking a Desoxyn pill if I ever get my hands on another one.

Anyways, can someone describe to me what it's like? I have taken nearly all the prescription stimulants and can compare effects that way. Otherwise, the only rush I can think of is Nicotine as Nicotine is the only drug I've ever smoked. Maybe you could use a Cigarette rush to compare it to a meth rush? I don't know....I'm just curios in finding out what it's like.

Imagine all the adrenaline and epinephrine pouring into your blood stream all at once. Scarrier than jumping off a cliff really.
 
Haha, fuck nicotine, meth rush is like having an orgasm in the head and then it spreads throughout the body like a warm glow. Then the ears starts to ring, you breath heavy, and want to have sex immediately!
 
What I'd imagine an athlete feels when winning gold in 100m sprint race at the Olympics.

That's what I assumed most answers would be like.

5ish years ago, before I ever tried pot, I had an idea of what it felt like due to descriptions from friends and the Internet, but my idea as to the way it felt was nothing like it actually was.

Very interesting. Have you ever taken an adrenaline shot? Would you say it was identical to that if you have? I got one due to an anaphylactic reaction to the medication clonidine just a little over 4 days ago (see my trip report) and that's exactly the way it was. It hit me within seconds and gave me a panic attack. Even though I was in no danger, I all of a sudden felt like I had to escape or else I would be in grave danger.

Obviously it was artificial epinephrine that was injected into my body, but I imagine an artificial endogenous release would be no different.

Also interesting. I know Nicotine is no where near as powerful as meth. What I was trying to describe was the head rush you get from Nicotine. So how much stronger would you say a meth head rush is compared to a Nicotine head rush?

Probably not a bad analogy. However, while the overall effects are probably very similar; there is no sudden, dizzyating, nauseating head rush like you feel with nicotine or meth.

Anyways, I know altered states of mind are incredibly hard to describe and I appreciate everyone trying to pitch it. It's helped a lot! Can anyone else chime in?

I would say its kinda like rolling on MDMA minus the super empathy and mind fuck that MDMA sometimes causes. That is the best comparison i can think of right now.

That's almost exactly how I would of described meth. Very euphoric, not as much empathy as MDMA, but it still has that effect.

I was, however, asking what a meth rush is like (if you you smoke it or inject it or something). I do, however, appreciate the contribution :)
 
i'm on some right now, and i'd say the rush feels like....to me, it first gets me in my head, then becomes just too much for my head to handle all of it, so my body feels just...out there. honestly when you said nicotine rush...i'd say maybe. imagine a nicotine rush, a big one, but you don't have quite the same heavy body effects, and it replaces that with more physical head spinnings and what not. you also get out of breath(i'm guessing from increasing heart rate and BP and whatnot), then...repeat, basically, for some sort of length of time. it's hard to describe, but i felt random intro waves of "whooooa"ness for like a half hour.
 
A "rush" as oral or snorting meth comes on? Or a real rush like banging it would give? (I've never smoked it)

A rush from injection feels like you are superman for a minute or two. A "thrill" accompanied by feeling like you could scrabble through the wall next to you in an instant just to get a light for your smoke. Remember Hendrix's "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)"?

That's from straight, pharmaceutical d-meth. Some good crank or crystal might also give tingly body feelings. You might even immediately taste or smell the drug.

not mind-blowing but remarkable anyways
have never been enthusiastic about great rushs aside of inhaling weed mixed with tobacco so thats best I can offer

Imagine having the best sex of your life, while eating the best food that you've ever eaten, while witnessing the birth of your first born child, mixed with the adrenaline of climbing out of your car unscathed as you completely totaled it doing 120mph on the freeway and drove it through the guardrail. It's just an absolutely insane amount of neurotransmitters being released in completely unnatural amounts more or less instantly, so yeah, impossible to describe

OP u can try meth, its totally overrated.
I also thought meth is like wooooooah the nonplusultra but people just exaggerating.
I just smoked it out of curiosity and I had high expectations due to the narrative of a super drug.

And dont be afraid of streeet meth, yes ur right its maybe toxic, but our bodys have lots of mechanism to get rid of toxines.
and nowadays everything is toxic, even the air.

I mean u took desoxyn and thats meth...
Of course its not so strong, but whatever.

I also said I will never ever take drugs, then I tried it and then i left it, not a big deal.
But i guess it depends on the person, some get hooked on it, the majority not.

meth is great with sex and so on.

Well different strokes for different folks. I am not exaggerating from my own personal experience. I meant every word that I said. When did you try smoking? Meth quality has dropped a significant amount over the years, especially recently; at least in the USA. When I first started using it about 10 years ago, it was exactly as I described, and that was already after I had been using other amphetamines for years and therefore already had a tolerance. I haven't really used meth in the last 4 years or so. I recently got some and yeah, it was underwhelming. I got stimulated and could focus but the euphoria wasn't there, and I suspect that has more to do with the quality than it does anything else.
 
I've only had one real 'meth rush' and it's very intense. Hard to describe, I'd say feeling like you have pure power and 'feeling great' pumping through you. And it's very noticeable. Especially if you don't generally use any drugs except weed. You have absolutely no doubt you are high on meth and one of the first thoughts that always crosses my mind is 'I can't believe smoking little crystals can make you feel like THIS. No fucking wonder people love this.'

Ive done it sporadically over the last 5+ years and only once was a real jolt of energy and pure 'fuck yes I feel great let's go climb a mountain' kinda rush.

Ive actually realised it was more how that dude packed the pipe and the kind of pipe he had that gave the rush, rather than the actual gear he had.

After reading someone's tutorial/guide recently I only found out that crushing the crystals and how you heat the pipe makes a big difference. The guy who packed that pipe was a super experienced meth head and had it down to a T. Usually when I've smoked it's very half arsed, sometimes even off foil but very often even in glass pipes the chunks were large and took ages to melt. I never blew such a huge cloud from one hit except that one grade A meth heads pipe and that's the one that hit me hard.

The rush from a smoked hit of good meth for me is like every hair stands on end and tingles while instantly getting the most horny I've ever been and an intense "yeah let's go" thought/feeling
 
The rush from meth is similiar to peeking on MDMA only different
 
IV meth Rush is absolutely amazing. It feels like overall body orgasm, it feels like something you missed your whole Life, like coming home from stressful, long and agonizing journey and finally all The stress and pain and heavy feeling just blows away, meth rush makes you feel invincible, relieved and extremely satisfied..
 
I have IVed both meth and regular amphetamine while completely sober from all drugs.

They are indistinguishable of dosage is normalized.

Their rush is far less than that of coke smoked or ived
