Elon Musk officially buys Twitter, DONE DEAL !

Everyone is flipping out and going crazy over this but Jack Dorsey and the rest of Twitter staff were horrible at running it. They allowed doxxxing of people, harassment, lots of bots/spammers to join, etc.

I think they'll agree to pay. They clearly value the little blue checks. It gives them a certain status and cachet. And we all know people love their cliques and hierarchies.
Twitter makes 5bn a year, it won't make a dent and more importantly it devalues and essentially destroys what is a key feature (believe it or not, it is).
People won't like it I think and if he's really gonna revolutionize the whole ad thing he needs as much engagement as possible.

Or maybe it won't matter at all

Well there are millions of daily users and tweets, it's incredibly hard to block it all as soon as people expect. And if the algorithms are too harsh it affects users in the opposite way.
This is one of the fundamental problems with Twitter, it's not about leadership. Elon & fanboys seem to think a change of leadership was all that was needed... Well maybe Elon realized sooner or later but he already made an offer.
We'll all see and understand in the quarterly earnings :)

the other guy wasn't the richest but it had a clear agenda, that was shit, honestly. I hate censorship of any kind

I don't understand why the right is so excited about this. Because twitter banned Trump?

Do you really think Elon Musk has completely impartial freedom of speech in mind? The richest man in the world has no agenda???

The richest man in the world now owns one of the biggest social media platforms... sounds like the plot to a book. Kinda scary, if you ask me.
I don't like Musk at all, he clearly has an agenda, it's a fucked up transhumanist, he loves "merging humans with machines", pure satanism.
But he is more or less good at pretending he is "the good cop", well, at least some idiots think he's different, you only need to have a look at some of his exgirlfriends (specially Grimes) and his family (an ex-model jewish mother and an emerald south african miner, father) to know that this guy is not who he says he is.
Peter Thiel, who created Pay-Pal with him, it's a CIA asset.

and he is super arrogant and self-concious

What is your opinion about Mark Zuckerberg? Or bitcoin and other Ponzi scheme cryptocurrency?

The guy who wrote those tweets is from Saudi Arabia, so he should know better and he is playing with fire. Just like that idiot terrorist Khashoggi. Play stupid games, win stupid "prizes".

The same could be said for literally any victim of state-sponsored violence or oppression. Why'd you speak up, didn't you know what was gonna happen to you if you did?

These people never learned the basic rules of 'They shoot the messenger, so don't be a snitch.' and 'Don't shit where you eat.'

I know it sounds blunt or harsh, but Arabic or Middle Eastern countries tend to be super harsh and are theocratic countries. Look at Iran.

Well you see it as stupidity, I see it as courage. It takes courage to take an action in accordance with your values which incurs great personal risk upon yourself. Most people don't have that within them, which is why I respect it when I see it in others, even if I may disagree with them regarding their politics

MBS is a thug and all-around POS, and anyone who opposes him and the ignorant dystopia he wants to build gets points from me

I never got NEOM, it's a total money sink any way you look at it, and they're actually serious about it, they went on huge spending sprees and tried to sponsor all sorts of sports teams too. What is the point?

I must say, the only reason I'm on Twitter these days is to watch people lose their shit over Elon Musk. "He's gonna allow racists!" "Misinformation and hate speech will be okay!" "He's gonna bring Trump back!" 😅😅

Perfect place to troll now...especially if you're in a fucked up mood. 🤘

i can understand suspicion of crypto generally but how is bitcoin a ponzi scheme?

alasdair
I'm not an expert on crypto by any means (far from it, actually), but I believe they're using the term loosely and pointing to crypto related businesses/markets/banks and not BTC itself. It's unregulated and ultimately more prone to large scale fraud or other crime such as ponzi like schemes.

Yeah, it's hilarious to watch people get upset when other people say the N word. It makes my day.

Oh wait, I mean heroin. Heroin makes my day better. I couldn't give a fuck about trolls on the internet.

If you really feel this way why not go to Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, UAE, Qatar, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Algeria, or Somalia and start a public demonstration against their government and Islam (they are one and the same in these countries), and see what happens?

Both of them are card board cut-outs for the military industrial complex. Facebook is just DARPA's 'Lifelog' project.. which was shelved the same day Facebook came into being. Michael McKibben's company, Leader Technologies, created part of the technology that underpins facebook and other social media (some sort of scaling database technology), which was stolen and gifted straight to the tech giants so they could get the edge. Almost identical to what happened with Nikola Tesla, Marconi, and radio technology. Marconi got gifted the patents and then drove the technology forward on behalf of the British establishment (who now control five-eyes).

The establishment has plans. They need these idiots like Zuckerberg and Musk to front their systems to the public. If everyone knew all these platforms are just sifting and collecting data in order to construct a future prison system then no one would go along with it obviously.

All those mega data centres storing just about every single bit of global digital communications for meta analysis. That has been going on since 9/11, as Snowden revealed. And it did the square root of fuck all in catching Jimmy Saville or Epstein. It's not for stopping terrorists either. It's for creating the "Know your customer"/digital ID/CBDC/social credit score system.

:?

How does anything I wrote there indicate that I should go to (for example) Saudi Arabia? I'm GLAD that I don't live there and have absolutely no desire to ever visit
