Oh the hypocrisy! Like most proponents of "free speech" they only refer to things they align with.

As with Elon, he is well known for silencing anyone who spoke out against Tesla or spoke of bugs in his automated car software.

He only pretends to praise free speech to give a hand job to conservative idealism, who in turn elect people that give him immunity from taxation. It's all quite obvious.

I never though of Elon like that until I heard all these things. Why are most of the rich people fucking assholes? Seriously why do some *not all* have to be such pompous jackasses
 
If I were Elon I would turn Twitter into an echo chamber for the right for a year or two then open it up to everyone , just even out the playing field a bit

Probably because they've either taken it up the arsehole, or done so to some poor sacrificial child, to get into the position they have. No one gets to that level of riches without being fucked in the soul.

There was some Dutch banker (Bernard?) who spoke up awhile back and basically admitted as much. To get to the top they actually had to participate in rituals with children. Mafia rules.. everyone has dirt on everyone else, so they all tow the line. Which would explain Musk's outburst towards that cave diver who saved a bunch of kids whom he called a nonce. I'm guessing it triggered him. Maybe he got bummed in the caves in Disney's magic kingdom or something.

LOL I'm sure Disney, Verizon & co. would love directing ad revenue to a platform composed mostly of gratuitous use of the n-word and long discussions of the "Jewish question" :LOL:

Except that’s not the right as a whole, just like the super nut jobs who think children should be able to mutilate their sex organs isn’t the whole left, or maybe it is I dunno, but you just buying into the bullshit…most people got banned for questioning the vaccine safety, but go ahead and think it’s because they were hurling racial slurs, they can’t defend themselves so you must be right, right ?

I don't think that the whole right is like that, that's not what I'm saying with that comment. The hardcore racists, extreme nationalists and fascists represent a minority current within the right overall...just as, say, Marxist-Leninists and anarchists represent a minority current on the left.

But let me put it another way to hopefully make the point more clear: who do you think would be most attracted to an "anything goes"-kinda situation online, regarding speech? (I mean obviously there's no place online where ABSOLUTELY anything goes, not even 4chan etc, but to the extent possible)

By my way of thinking, it would probably be most attractive to those who thought their own worldview or way of thinking was marginalized, censored or taboo in mainstream discourse. So yeah, I do think that literal white supremacists and neo-Nazis would be drawn to it like flies to shit.

There are already right-wing social media echo chambers anyway. That's not something that's lacking in today's world.

The way I see it both parties are on the same side and working together to get to their end goal, but they have realized it’s better in the long run to make people feel like they have a choice in the matter, so what’s the best way to direct a country in the way you want ? Have 2 parties that oppose each other that best relate to how most people feel, democrats and republicans, then you slowly move the line in the direction you want with one party and use the other to oppose, but ultimately we’re already on a predetermined path to what will ultimately be a ruling class and a slave labor class
 
I think they'll agree to pay. They clearly value the little blue checks. It gives them a certain status and cachet. And we all know people love their cliques and hierarchies.
