Mass Shooting and Gun Control Megathread

Wont find that on lifetime
Shit like that actually happens, I know it’s hard to believe but there are psychotic people out there and it’s the luck of the draw who end up their victim, I know I’ll do everything in my power to make sure if I draw that cosmic short straw I’m gonna do anything I can to prevent it

When minutes count
cops are hours away

Somebody had a busy day yesterday

I don't see him getting convicted for attempted robbery, unless there is more to the story we're not seeing like he said "give me the money" or something

Also, why would the employee bring his gun to work just to leave it in the back room? lol

Aggravated assault is not a small charge
It really ain't.

My mother was shot at in the 80s on a highway in Texas. She was so dumb she decided to fuckin' chase him down and get the plates. They arrested him and he did 9 years. When he got out in the 90s they let her know. He never came after her. I guess the guy was drunk and dumb, it wasn't road rage, the roads were wide and empty back then. Maybe my mom was pretty back then too lol

I bet you the Tesla driver in this instance did something really asinine if this guy got out of his truck to shoot at him. Rich people drive like idiots.

In other news:
An Oakland school shooting that injured 6 was gang-related, police say

Happy to see only adults injured, no deaths. Completely gang related.

I have a relative in Oakland, I've never gotten the 'gangland' vibe from that city. I wonder what's causing the uptick in organized crime there, aside from the abject wealth disparities?

Really? Oakland is rough bro, but it's a weird mix of wealthy and poor. Certain streets are dangerous, but 1 block over is a nice area

I guess my mom's cousin lives on a good street then. I mean I recall seeing lots of doped out bums on the street and such, but they're all over the Bay Area.

I suppose I kinda thought as a country we had moved past the organized crime of the 90s but it seems to be a more common occurrence these past two years.

Yeah, he was a rookie (7 months) and tried to claim the kid hit him with his car, until bodycam footage showed otherwise

He said he thought it was a car that got away from him the day/night before, that he saw when showing up for another call to McDonald's or whatever fast food place this happened at

Is he getting sued? Straight up attempt at murder man, guy also just fires straight into traffic. Fucking hell

He got fired. I assume he'll catch a civil suit. The teen ended up in the hospital in critical condition but has survived. Obviously the kid will file a suit against the city/police I'd think
