do you not put off going to the doctor until the very last moment, because it's too expensive? - that idea would be laughable in Europe
do you not pay shitloads and shitloads for medication? (0-8€ in Europe, I never paid more than 8, most of the time it's just free)
do you not worry about someone's financial situation first before calling an ambulance? (10-20€ in Europe)
do you not learn for CPR that it's better not to try and save someone's life, because they could sue you? - not helping when you know CPR in Germany is a felony. You'd get a charge of negligent homicide and a bunch of other charges for that

there's much better places in Europe than Germany

Ok - it's on the TV - we're Hollywood - that's what we do - and that's what you see

but i grew up in the NYC area when it was in it's worst crime stretch in history - and guess what - it wasn't that bad and nothing really bad ever happened to me as a kid roaming around those streets - no guns being pointed at me, i wasn't dodging bullets, the cops weren't beating us up, even tho they were dicks - but that's cops - and nobody i knew was getting shot at or anything even close to that - so that whole picture that you've seen on TV just isn't the way it really is for most everyone

and it depends on your health insurance and what you have going on that might put you in the hole with medical bills....so yea that can suck - but even the homeless have health insurance with medicaid if they end up in the hospital - a social worker puts them on it at the hospital and then predate it to the 1st of the month so they're covered - so the lowest in the income pool is covered even when they're incapable of doing it themselves before something happens....not a bad deal right? at least that part is fixed right? so there's still more work to do there but it's better than it was in some aspects.....

and yea i guess we have a gun problem with everybody shooting one another but that can be fixed if they stop making it so easy to buy guns
