Does anyone else experience chronic insomnia on Invega ~ wake up early hours every morning & find it absolutely impossible to get back to sleep...have this fake kind of energy which keeps me going during the day?!

I don’t know exactly what you mean. For 18 months while I was on invega, I couldn’t feel vyvanse or coffee. Now after getting my dose lowered to the lowest dose and now completely off, I can feel the affects of speed again. My dopamine seems to be working again.
What dosage were you on & was it the injection or orals ~ how long did it take before you could ‘feel’ again…

Yes we have a few people in this thread who have this as a result of invega :(

Hey guys just an update as I’m coming to the end of my 6 month period, I became sick all day since last night and been throwing up harshly and was feeling weak, I was having a hard time staying sleep and was experiencing hot flashes and all this is after I have been taking supplements to better the side effect on invega paliperidone. I also got exercised a lot. I my memory had gotten better, i feel I can see life better today and this is all over night. Wish you all the best
What dosage are you on ~ injection or orals…I also have insomnia from Invega & hot flushes etc. What vitamins are you taking? At Johns Wort apparently slows down the effect of Paliperidone.

the sleep. not feel the receptors. Are weight gain and difficulty concentrating revwrsible symptoms? I'm scared. 1 year has passed

Healing takes anywhere up to 1-2 years for most ppl ~ depending on how long you took it for…
I don’t think so,i know a guy who had 10 or 12 shot and he recovered in 1 year, another had 8 or 9,he recovered in 1 year, another had 7 shot,hé recovered in 1 year.is not how long we take this fucking poison.

My last shot of 39 mg was on May 24th

If you look at the main areas invega affected for me, it’s been a slow and steady improvement as I’ve tapered off. I saw the biggest improvements when I went down to 39mg. I could almost function at 39 mg. It’s not that bad. And now I’m seeing even more improvements as it leaves my system.

Maybe my doctor doing the slow taper helped my body adjust better because I feel better every month.

Maybe it’s better to stop this poison step by step

I have one 25mg shot to go then its a zeolite & activated charcoal detox for me. This is by far the worst drug I have ever had the misfortune of taking. My Co ordination is shot, my sleep is awful, I can just about do 15 push ups, exercise is a real struggle, appetite is for rubbish foods. My motivation is half what it used to be. I pray that a detox speeds up the removal of this crap from my body.

My psyc wanted me to take this for 2 years, I said no way, soon as I got released from detainment I said I wanted off it immediately. This stuff should be illegal.

Honestly I wouldn't even be worried about full recovery just yet, but I would be just glad to see a few steps forward, some signs that I will eventually get there...

How would one gauge at which speed their recovery is going without using other/recreational drugs?

Today I noticed I was having difficulty remembering the plot of the TV shows I was watching just after one hour, though in the end I did manage to recall for the most part. Might use this as a mental exercise to add to my daily routine

I think too, I’ve been on it so long I’ve forgotten what it feels like to feel good. I notice every step more because I’m used to being medicated now. It’s my new normal.

I have spiralling bipolar. I wasn’t taking my meds so they put me on shots.

I haven’t had the spiralling bipolar lately. Hopefully that doesn’t come back. If it does, I have extra seroquel to take to knock a manic episode down.

I think it is irreversible. those who say they are healed may have got used to it. I have not yet seen in this forum part 5 someone say that it is 100% afraid
