Some want to withhold federal funds from states that don't have red flag laws. To me, it seems obvious that some support it because they want to use red flag laws as a political weapon

I'm liberal/progressive on most issues but I also lean libertarian.
Just curious: Where do you draw the line? Armor-piercing ammo? Grenade launchers? Tanks?

This is a scary terrible idea and has been used wrongly

I would draw the line at aircraft/SAMs I guess. I would never be rich enough to own things like that but if I wanted to the potential would be there and that is what being American is all about, pursuing dreams.
Armor-piercing ammunitions are legal (to an extent), but you can't buy armor-piercing handgun rounds.

Completely Cowards who would never think of trying that at some big police station or definitely not at a Military Base. Gee I wonder why? ---Yeah be taken out in minutes!!The Buffalo mass shooting. The supposedly the perp posted a very long manifesto where he used similar rhetoric as Tucker Carlson re: essentially white people are going to become the minority. Also some neo-nazi stuff thrown in. So we have one more white MAGAt that was taken alive by police where a black person would be shot just for moving his hands too fast. Of course the media normally says this type of person is a lone wolf with mental health problems and was bullied as a kid. Not the white supremacist domestic terrorist that he is.

Actually I was wrong about this. Armor-piercing rounds are illicit, but they do make 'penetrator' rounds with steel cores that don't break apart easily designed to go through thicker barriers for military use, which are sold to civilians as surplus. I confused these two things. Full military thick plate should still block such rounds.

While I agree they are complete cowards, don't forget there was a mass shooting at Ft Hood military base in 2014. The shooter ended up turning the gun on himself after he took out several folks.Completely Cowards who would never think of trying that at some big police station or definitely not at a Military Base. Yeah but I do remember vividly that was driven by Muslim hatred of USA and that was purely motivated for revenge on USA. These creeps are all copycat failures who go after super soft targets because they know armed to the teeth soldiers or Police will take them out minute spotted. They are NOT CRAZY; BS media trying to give meaning to it all. crazy people do acts of no thought and no reason. These cowards want as many innocent and helpless people they can get. If those who do not agree with heavily armed teachers or Principles then technology can offer simple solution. Electronic detection of heavy metals even particular metals exist that detect brass ,copper; & of course steel. Auto doors with bullet resistant windows and door panels could be in place. detects anyone with handgun metals or bullets doors drop and individual locked in for police to come investigate. This technology does exist by the way. Our children well worth it 100%.
