Ex-Marine heard someone creeping around his house late at night. Had his wife hide and he grabbed his semi-auto rifle. The police kicked in his door, he shot thinking “oh my god a whole gang are trying to kill us” and was brutally murdered by the swat team. Can any Americans point out any examples of when guns were successfully used to defend a citizen against a tyrannical entity of government within the last 100 years or so? Or ever, really?
Meaning they were actually justified in doing so and weren't just trying to kill cops after breaking the law.
I'm really tired of people parroting this part of the 2nd amendment.
Makes me think of Waco...
Turns out they were serving a no knock drug warrant. The guy was clean, they got the wrong house. But they didn’t figure that out till they had shot him some 10-20 times.
I think it was in Arizona? This was some years back. But stories like this are very true and real, you never know when you might get swatted for no reason.
