It's really, really bad. "Drag" the kids, as in force them against their will, onto a stage with a sign that says it's not going to lick itself.

There are people on Twitter actually trying to excuse the sign. And comparing drag shows to NBA cheerleaders.

A more apt comparison would be child beauty pageants, those need banned too.

I probably would have not done a necessary double take if it wasn't for the sign. The whole thing has such a lack of self awareness to it.
 
Yeah, and they could have chosen not to light up the neon sign. But they did choose to. Someone made that conscious decision.

Welp, that is definitely an example of an extremist. What a dumb thing to say.

I always thought the point of LGBTQ activism was to get people to accept gay/trans, not to convert people. Apparently that isn't the case for some people.

But it still is for the vast majority. I'm sure nearly all gay/trans people would read that and be pissed off.

I hope you're right because I am not seeing any concerted backlash/resistance from these LGBT people you speak of, against the activists. I really hope to see it soon because things are getting out of control and I don't want any caring, well-meaning people to get caught up in the eventual snapback.
