Some of us have lived around DC our entire lives, I definitely don't want to see it nuked. As far as cities go it's actually a pretty nice one.

the problem with dissolving the federal reserve in a short time span is that the people would lose their homes, retirement funds, etc.

i agree that central banking (mainly through QE) is a root of many of our problems… but ron paul proposed abolishing it in a time span of less than a year if i’m not mistaken.

there’s simply no way the financial system could support itself if that happened. people would lose their entire livelihood. and i can guarantee you that main street will not be getting a bail out. only wall street.

The USA never was a "Christian" nation and never should be. Most of the founding fathers were Deists, hello? First amendment anyone? Does separation of church and state not mean anything to you all? Does fleeing the Church of England, a government sponsored religion, not mean anything to you?

A list of Christians? This is bananas. I dated a Muslim girl for over a year. Huge Bernie supporter.

The Christian right is the biggest bunch of snowflake crybabies I have ever seen. They do everything in their power to be hated by reasonable people (book banning, gay and trans banning, female reproductive rights banning, voting rights banning, etc etc etc) and cry PERSECUTION any time someone calls them on their bullshit.

He has many proposals, and likely just made those statements for affect etc. I agree it couldn’t just be dissolved, but we mostly just want to go back to basing our currency on something tangible, so it can be used to rob the poor. I always liked his basket of commodities idea. Pick like four super stable daily traded goods.

Probably not any worse than any other city. DC has made a lot improvement in that regard though over the past couple decades.

Same. my area is just solid purple. I think we are the lucky ones. I’d rather that then see my family, friends and my pets die. I couldn’t bare it.Even thinking about it breaks my heart. I am glad my area is going to be carpeted with nukes and is not somewhere on the outskirts where it will be endless days of radiation fallout and human suffering and misery before the end. I can’t do end of the world thugging it out. I’m just not built for that.

Sorry, I hope you didn't see that as a personal attack on you since I painted with quite a broad paintbrush there.

I was raised in a very conservative Christian household and as you can see, sometimes certain topics trigger my emotions :alien:

Wait til China attacks Taiwan, also soon to be happening. Shit is going down..
Only a few days ago since China warned the world with horrible consequences if anyone were to interfere in Taiwan

While the world is focussing on the Ukraine, others are going to take advantage.

I still don't think anything is going to get nuclear, I'm almost 100% on that.
Thing is, nuclear weapons are the only reason why the warring stopped, like it or not.
The world has seen what they can do, and other than that, they are a good way to prevent a war from happening.
See he says "don't interfere, or else..", and that's preventing an all-out war.

He just wants Ukraine to never be NATO. That's about it.

Taiwan on the other hand...
