As far as people "caring" or not---

Yeah, people care less the more "foreign" a country is perceived to be (distance, ethnicity, race, language, etc...) BUT I believe that those of us who live in democracies DO care about other democracies, especially when they are under unprovoked attacks by dictatorships.

Maybe I'm naive, but this seems to be true.

its the left wingers in europe and nato who pissed off putin. So they will now have to eat his nukes right to the face. This will be the last we see of the EU. No one is europe will survive putins wrath if they fuck him off enough to end them with nukes. America at least has giant missile batteries throughout the country that can shoot down a few hundred nukes aimed at it.
